4 things I loved, hated, and was confused by in X-men 3: The Last Stand.

First, the spoiler-free review: Xmen 3: The Last Stand is a movie I'm pretty split on. Part of me liked it; part of me didn't, and part of me was pretty boggled by it. Yup. Shadow Cat and Colossus (And Colossus had a tiny, bit in another, throwaway Bobby/Rogue scene, too) were both in the "attack on the school" scene. Shadow Cat woke up when Siren started screaming, phased through her bed onto the story below, then phased through one of the soldiers and out through a wall. Colossus knocked out some guys, and then helped get the younger students out through the secret exit. And then, at the end of the movie when the main characters are confronting the Senator, and he's all "How did you get those documents?" Professor X is all "Let's just say I know a little girl who can walk through walls."

Beast was just a throwaway cameo, non-blue and played by some non Kelsey Grammer person. He's seen on the television in the bar when Mystique pumps the security guard for Magneto's cell full of lead.

And, actually, Shadow Cat had a cameo in the first one, too. When either Rogue or Wolverine are talking to the Professor right after he finished teaching a class, Shadow Cat comes running through the wall to get a book. She was played by a different actress in each movie, so that could be where your confusion was.
