Taken from my driver's log on Saturday,11/11/05:
10:00AM-10:45AM
First Driving Lesson:
Drove around the neighborhood for the first time. I felt shaky, and I still am. Dad showed and explained the nomen clature, speedometer, and that meter that shows how high the engine was revving.
When I backed out of the driveway, I had a bit of a hard time, mostly because when I got into the road and started moving, I kept going forward too much and had to put the car in reverse again =_=;;. But after that, I mostly had my foot on the break for a while when going around the neighborhood, and eventually accelerated to a max speed of 5 MPH~! Oh the exhilaration of it all~! >:D
Another thing I found interesting was the fact that I was practicing in reality situations. Pedestrians, other drivers, and obstacles were present, but I got through it all without a scratch on the car. ^_^
I'm really glad that my first driving session was with my dad because I think I would get into a car accident with my mom o_o;;. He was very patient with me, and was able to let me relax a bit by directing me in a calm manner. Although I think he was nervous as well with me in the driver's seat. ^^;;
My overall progress in my opinion was well done. Of course there's room for imrpovement, but that will come in due time.
And there's another entry there on my xanga, but I'm too lazy to post it. Just know my family's so frickin screwed nowadays that I often cry about it. The entry itself sounds too mushy and gushy to post right now. =_= Just go to my xanga if you really want to read it.

-Taking voice lessons
-Going to take up guitar lessons if that damn guitar ever gets fixed. >_>
-Still taking piano
-I hate staying until 5:30 for Christmas Pageant practices.
