With a sigh of relief (?) I can say I am home. It's nice to sleep in my own bed, play with the cats and sneak up and give Dad hugs. I fell asleep last night at 8, probably due to lack of sleep and stress from this past week. The bus ride home was pretty uneventful and fast. I was expecting the bus to be packed, but surprisingly, it wasn't. I think there was 5 people the whole time. Nice. My room was closed and freezing and I wasted no time in turning up the heat. It really is something neat to have heat come up through the bottom of the floor. When I went to bed, some of my blankets were on the ground and they were all nice and toasty for bed. I woke up way too early today, but I'll live. Dad made and appointment for me to get my two front tires done this morning....at 8. Ew. But I'm thankful for him doing that for me.
This week is Thanksgiving and I am SO excited. I love waking up to a warm house with the smell of turkey wafting everywhere, Dad whistling some tune, frost on the grass, and the parade on but no one watching. This year, supposedly, a few relatvies are even coming. When I look back on previous Thanksgivings, I see so many different places and people. We rarely ever had it at home. Now that we've got so much more room, we can actually have people over to OUR house. I like it much better this way.
