back from the dead
back to city jungle.
the Holidays was fun. I get to see family members and old friends after a while. nothing change much back home, the water from the tap is still cold, the mosquitoes outside were still big, our old dog is still psychotic and my sister and nieces still gang up on me during doggie-pile-on-the-bandit. I swear on my bruises that they need to be less around men in our family.
i wasn't able to do trekking to the nearby mountain park since it was constantly raining thus no permits were granted. it's not like I'm climbing the peak of Mount Apo but apparently going up the base and the park still needs permit. technically, i still went up the mountain when we visited the farm. it was so tranquil up there and waking up is hard since the fog kept inviting me back to bed until 8AM.
New Year was noisy as always and though we just settled for sparklers, the fireworks outside was still enough to go by. Our dog seemed used to it by now, he didn't cried as much until my cousins used up the Crying Cow ones. Birds were another thing though, 2 flew in inside the 2nd floor and were spinning around the house.
hopefully i get to go home again at the end of the year but for now some lives needs saving.
