Someone just deposited a candy beside me. He was walking quickly and I was looking at my computer screen so I didn't even see his face. Or even any discerning features about him. He didn't even pause when he dropped the candy beside me, obviously not wanting me to see him ( Read more... )

What would be truly miraculous is if I can ever get out to Japan. Every year I say that I'll go, and every time it just doesn't work out.

I guess "Samurai Wok's" unaided space travel powers don't apply to trips to Japan.

I'm sure if you stop talking and start researching you might get here.
I recommend looking at Teach and Travel or the JET program, because I know people that have done both. And the JET program pays high, and in american dollars.

Problem with JET is a NEED a bachelor degree supposedly. That's four years of post-secondary.

I have been researching several programs, and I have a bunch of people trying to get a hold of information on other programs as well for me.

I'm just whining cuz you beat me out there.

Oh the jealousy!!! GRRRR!

Oh! And when you get back, we should put together some kind of 'Miyazaki' marathon. That would be cool.

Oh yah, because I have seen some of the Miyazaki movies that haven't come to Canada yet. Be jealous.
