i love my Daddy!

it has been an interesting Father's day, as most of my family has been or at least feels sick, and my Father the worst of all (i dunno.. him or Robert) and it appears that a noticable number at church were sick as well. At least we are all (ok, perhaps not Edmund, as he goes to sleep very early and therefore tends to stay well rested) are still at least somewhat exhausted from the beforementioned birthday party and all of the preparations thereof. Though i am still excited about being able to give my Father a really nice metal collander (long story on why he really does not like the one we've been using for years)

I'm also very excited about getting my room clean AND organized! ^-^ we have even picked up some nice shelves from Ikea (Ikea - w00t!) and are pulling together the materals for the custom bookshelf i've been wanting to make! (ie, one that is paperback sized so that there won't be all of that unused shelf space behind them)
(and this means that i won't have to get rid of books just because there is no place to put them ^^;
and after working at the bookstore, i know that my room is the best place to keep them too - little to no direct sunlight, not to hot or dry or cold & wet, or damp - just right)

so somebody, please, at least remind me not to fall for the trap of getting depressed after i get excited about doing good things, at that is far too effective at pulling a substantail, if not even all, of the motivation out from under at least myself.

..sigh....

otherwise, still no car - yes i managed to crash my car and she's still in the shop. i'm fine, physically at least (nerves are still kind of jarred). (borrowing the family van today to drive brothers and) having a little red car come onto route 7 RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME and having to swerve to not get into another accident today, did not help.

http://www.providentliving.org/ --- it's awsome. i probably should have checked it out earlier.

(yep, i belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints)
