Good reads!
So I've been reading the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo books. (audio)
They are so entertaining. But the crux of the story is that the protagonist is a girl and not a boy. Don't get me wrong, I'm not putting it down, it's just you have to realize that reading the trilogy that it's great because she's a girl not a boy.
Also I need to read more Truman Capote. Fabulous.
At work, I now get a 1 hr lunch break which could mean alot of reading. I haven't really taken advantage of it yet because I've been doing damage control with my boss. I can't complain though, because she buys me lunch when I do this. I'm kidding. When my boss feels down, she needs a buddy and I recognize that going to lunch with her will keep her from feeling isolated and therefore more stressed. She does buy me lunch though.
But I'm trying to figure out what could be more useful. I could use the hour to brush up on a language. Spanish would be the easiest, but I could do Japanese. These days I'm less enamored about Japanese. I still like anime, but I don't really want to do anything with Japanese. The other thing I could is write. Which I should do. I want a project.
