I'm not sure what the "that" is, but I just felt like quoting Meatloaf because, really, is there a bad time to quote Meatloaf?
Anyway, I was bored this morning and I'm still super cranky over the lack of quest (WHAT THE FUCKITY FUCK, BEEB), so I decided that instead of cleaning my room, I was going to transcribe the best bits of just uploaded

Bradley: Well, you just look more natural.
Katie: (scoffs) Natural. Girls naturally look like they've been dragged through a bush backwards.
Bwahaha, I read this yesterday and it is STILL my favourite!
Well, or maybe it ties with:
But I quite like it like this, I think it's got a sort of voyeur kind of point of view of Merlin. He's always...
Katie: Lurking.
Bradley: Lurking, creeping into rooms.
Katie: Watching.
'Cause: RIGHT???
And: ha ha ha, Gwaine banter!
And (okay, clearly this is just going to become me quoting back the whole entry at you)--
Katie: (after Morgana walks away from Uther, smirking) D'you think I might be evil?
Bradley: You have got a few of those looks.
YA KNOW, JUST A FEW.
MANNY THE MANDRAKE. ♥
Bradley: Sensitive... I'm all sorts of things. I'm all sorts.
Katie: Sensitive, blond.
Bradley: Sensitive, caring...
Katie: Blond.
Bradley: Blond. Although, we knew that.
JOY.
And I really, really hope they were saying "cupcakes."

(Also, omg, yes, I now have this image of Bradley decorating little S&M cupcakes and it's pretty damn hilarious.)

Also, I like Gwen and Arthur okay, but how are they ever going to fit Lancelot back into the situation now that Their True Love Has Been Cemented?? COME ON.

I continue to hold on to my belief that this is all a secret giant gay romcom, and Merlin is the plucky protagonist and Arthur is The One He Wished He Could Ignore and Gwen's the frustratingly adorable red herring that causes our hero(ine) to pine sadly to emotionally manipulative acoustic jazz, which is what I've decided this season is, and then the next two seasons will be the last ten minutes where Arthur and Merlin realize they are MEANT TO BE! And then at their wedding Lancelot and Gwen's eyes meet.
I MEAN COME ON IT IS SO FEASIBLE.

I find that I really like it when Arthur and Gwen are just talking/teasing each other -- I think there's a nice, low-key warmth there (hahaha, which I think is the other side of the 'no chemistry' coin) -- but all the Epic Love stuff grates. I kind of feel like Gwen is too sensible for that crap, and Arthur is too emotionally immature, and basically I wish he was still tugging on Morgana's figurative pigtails instead, SISTER OR NOT! Or, you know, Merlin's. Whyyyyy does he keep throwing things at Merlin? WHY CAN'T THEY BE BROMANTIC ANYMORE?

I just take refuge in the fact that a)half the time Merlin is deliberately provoking Arthur into throwing something at him to ~express his feelings~ and b) Bradley doesn't seem too fond of it either.

Basically, has season three done anything good for anyone??
Except Gwaine, and all those who have gotten to share screentime with his magnificent hair.

I was thinking about this earlier today and I came to the conclusion that the writers deliberately kept Lancelot away for so long (2 years in their time line since there was a year gap between seasons 2 and 3) so that Arthur stood a chance in hell with Gwen. And I think the writers worked their butts off this season to establish G/A as solidly as they could so that when Lancelot returns, he can make eyes at Gwen and she can be conflicted, but it'll be clear that he's the 'other man' from this point forward. Which is what the triangle has to be based on for it to follow the mythos. JMO.

And if that doesn't happen, I'm writing it, and in my universe, it will.
