Thwarted!
I meant to go to church this morning and to confession right afterward so that I wouldn't have to worry about it while I was off on vacation. I set my alarm, I had everything ready, went to bed and--
Woke up at the time when mass would've started. I feel annoyed. I checked my phone, because I felt that it was oddly light in my room, and the damn thing wasn't even on. So when I turn it on, mass would've been starting, and I couldn't find it in me to spring out of bed and rush around to get ready and get out there. What would've been the point? Mass on Saturdays only lasts half an hour, so even if I did rush, I wouldn't have made it out there. I maybe could have made it to confession, but then what's the point of going to confession for, "I missed church the other week and haven't been taking communion since" if I'm only going to miss church again while I'm on a plane tomorrow and then when I'm still in Canada next Sunday? Oh well... I suppose I'll just have to read the bible for an hour and hope that will do.
Now I still have to go finish getting ready for work, but luckily that won't take very long.
