Honestly, sometimes I get all revved up for posting here, and then I think no one really gives a shit, so I don't post at all. Right now, I do it just for the hell of it. Maybe it'll help me think, and at the very least it'll take my mind off of my foot for a bit. Maybe.

Okay, mind is still on foot, so may as well just address it briefly. It still hurts a bit, though not nearly as much as before. It looks... well... honestly, hideous. I don't think I really need a bandaid on it any more other than to spare others (and myself) the hideousness of my heel. You know when you've had an apple for a while and it looks fine except for this one spot where it's rotting, browning, and a touch sunk in? It isn't pleasant on the apple, and it's even less so when one of your appendages gets that look.

Moving on.
As my boss put it earlier today: When it rains, it pours. About a week ago, a random customer asked me out to drinks. I guess I gave the impression of not really being into alcohol, so he asked me to tea. I'm still laughing about it. Sure, I love tea. But he was asking me out when it was already late into my shift. I'm talking about 8:30pm. To tea. And he was not at all cute (actually looked pretty old), and he came off a bit creepy. I politely declined his invitation three times.
Three days ago, another random customer asked me out. This one invited me to get a sandwich with him. I'm not sure how I feel about this... Sandwiches are delicious, but the last time a guy got me a sandwich he turned out to be a jerk. Not the sandwich's fault, of course, but still. Anyway! This guy gave me his phone number, in case I decided to take him up on the sandwich offer... He's okay-looking, doesn't creep me out, and looks tolerably within range of my age, so I've been considering giving him a call.
I'm curious now as to what motivated this guy to ask me out. Was it my sass? My sense of humor? The fact that I was wearing a skirt? He apparently found my motivations for wearing a skirt hilarious. I admitted to my coworker within hearing-range of this guy that I was wearing a skirt to avoid doing much labor. No lifting and carrying boxes or jumping up and down on the counter for me!
Okay, I think I've rambled on enough. I wonder whether I should fire up Team Fortress 2, Final Fantasy Tactics, or World of Warcraft now. Hmmm... decisions.
