I never knew how to fold paper cranes. Whenever people talked about folding 1000 paper cranes I never really thought much of it. After the earthquake I learned how to though, and with a friend we folded 1000. We used any paper we had, folding cranes throughout class, right in front of our teachers while they were talking. Then we sent them off to a charity where the idea was, for every crane they recieved they would give a $1 for relief in Japan.
It's been a year, many things have happened, but one thing that won't change is that I'll keep praying for the people in Japan and the people that have lived through the disaster and are still going through the consequences of it today.
頑張れ日本、いつも応援しています。
