Strange Corner
I think it's time for me to post a personal post again.
Interning at UGO these past few months has been the best thing to ever happen to me. It's always been my dream to write about nerd news, and while the big names like IGN, 1UP, and even G4Tv were all situated in Cali, it was great to find something in NYC.
This was the was reason why I was gone for the week - the merger between UGO and IGN has put a lot of stress and pressure on everyone, but it’s honestly really freaking exciting. It's the best thing to happen to UGO, and can only bring everyone else the best possible content to come.
My overall goal has always been to one day work with IGN, and every step I've taken in my career path has reflected this dream. But now it’s like my dream just came to my door, which is a lot better than me having to fly across country to knock on theirs.
Hopefully I can still be with the company after the dust settles, but that’s another mountain to climb…a bigger and more terrifying one, to be perfectly honest.
I can only try my best to make it work.
