Big Apple Comic Con Day (Later)
Heading over to Big Apple Comic Con later this morning. Need to still figure out where I'm supposed to pick up my badge at this place (never been to this con before) but it seems small enough to figure out.
Sabrina dropped off my copy of Superman: Red Son and I'm hoping to see if Mark Millar can sign it...Kon says I should also give him a dollar to sign cause he's become such a sell-out...can't deny that, but I still like his stories. People say he's not nice in real life but I guess I'll find out...also I heard Jerry Robinson was gonna be there but when I checked the list the other night his name was taken off...dunno what to make of that. I know I've been getting a few press releases on the panels he's doing at NYCC so...maybe I'll check those out, but really i never thought the Joker was that big of a character for me, like I get it his deal, but I don't have a raging boner about his character. I think he's overdone, and Mark Hamil's his one true voice in my 90s kid ears...but that's a different LJ Post.
I hope to find a few books to buy and stuff to do. I'm excited cause I don't know what I'm in for and it's better than working so...weee~
Anyway, if any of you are gonna be at the Big Apple Comic Con, or NYCC/NYAF or in the NYC area hit me up...most of you know me in real life anyway so...yeah that social thing.
