I've been gone...
Sorry. I was able to check online stuff twice in the last month (and that includes 4 email accounts, paying bills, checking school stuff, and semi-using a gift certificate), so I've basically been offiline for a month or so. Before my computer crashed it was finals week/end of semester, so i wasn't really checking before that either.
I spent all weekend starting from new. I saved all my crap onto cds (damn I had a lot of crap on this thing), and rebooted from disk over the weekend. She's running like new again!
(actually I can't even remember my computers name, but I'm pretty sure it was a guy.... hmmm... I'll have to decide if he needs a sex change. I am starting over after all, and he was heavily used - seems more like a girl now.)
So if you had any big life changing events, either tell me about them, do a holiday rundown entry, or point me to the appropriate entries. For some reason I can only read the last twenty.
My holiday:
Didn't get to go back east, but had a nie holiday here. Been working a little extra, had Michelle (BUNS volunteer) over for Xmas Eve dinner, Sweety & I had a nice romantic New Years Eve together, we housesat and had 2 puppies to play with (and no cell phone service), I got to hang with Lisa (old roomie), and Brad (Sweety's best friend) came out to visit last week. I did my first hike while he was here. HOLY SHIT I am out of shape. But that's ok, I made it to the top. I proved to both myself & Sweety I can do a real hike. And I have the poison ivy between my fingers to prove it. Oh, yeah, and I nearly had my hand cut off. Only 7 stitches, though :) (Cut my hand washing dishes. Dangerous times we live in, dangerous times.)
So I now need to catch up with about a million friends:
I missed my best friends Birthday.
I missed one friend's first baby.
I missed everyon'e Xmas (and failed to send out about 10 Xmas cards that have postage on them...).
I missed a lot over a month.
