My friend Steelee introduced me to the artist Tomer Hanuka's work.
Those are stills from an animated documentary called "Waltz with Bashir."
Tomer and Asaf Hanuka are twin brothers, both illustrators and cartoonists based in New York City. Tomer works on a range of projects for magazines, book publishers, ad agencies and film studios. In 2008 Tomer won he British Design Museum award as part of the Penguin Classics Deluxe Editions. Here's some more of his work :
