Hey hey hey. Prince is a different story entirely. He wanted out of his contract but the label retained the right to the name "Prince" so he changed it to an unpronounceable symbol as his oh-so-subtle way of saying "Screw you, company" -- that's also why he deliberately released a slew of half-hearted albums in the mid-90s.

Prince is one of the greatest-yet-least-recognized guitarists of our time. Let us show him the proper respect.
