There were far too many things for me to comment on; so many moments that just made me laugh, squee, snerk and cackle (evilly) all throughout. I positively loved this post! And, as a good reader, I'll endeavor to point out my favorite bits.
5'3'' - I loved your description of Lightning's outfit, and in extension, Fang's and Vanille's. Hope made a particularly nice image in my head. The way you write Fang and Vanille is particularly endearing too.
Hope really should learn to watch his mouth; running ot off and getting dragged into the bouquet tossing. Everything happens to him. x3 Poor Hope, nailed in the face by said bouquet. I've held some of those bundles and if he's really unlucky to get the tightly packed ones... (I bet he is, he gets into the worst situations. x3)
5'4'' - The failed Surprise Party was a pleasure to read, I loved how Hope just walks in blithely and everyone's disappointment, nice title by the way. I should have noticed the sarcasm immediately. Hehehe. So, Lightning has met her match in Wrapping Paper? Ah, the shame. x3
Uhm... Sazh in an apron... no comment, it's safer for my brain that way. Dajh finger-painting? One word: AWWWW!!!
5'4'' - Ok, this one has to be my favorite. However, I do know that Serah is considered a good cook (canon fact), Lightning can cook but Serah is said to be better (canon fact again). Fang and Vanille? No facts if they can or cannot cook. So, props for having them at least able to cook one item; or in Vanille's place, prepare. I can just see her as a vegetarian. Lightning setting fire to food... oh, that makes me snerk. Repeatedly. I have to admit, there's no clue if they can bake, and cooking and baking are two entirely different fields of expertise. Now, Hope being able to bake is wholly believable. Snow and Sazh's lack of culinary skills is understandable too. They had women with them before after all. The Domestic Disaster was hilarious and the use of the universal solution when cooking/baking fails: Delivery!
Well, I think Light would be a virgin, if she's so cold and focused on taking care of Serah as she was. She had been extremely busy the last six years just working. And, I think she may not have well, gotten intimate with anyone if she rationalized that they would get in the way of her goals. I'm sure having a boyfriend would have made her life more complicated then Lightning would have cared it to be at that time. And if she thinks sex is purely for procreation... then, she would likely never touch a man unless it's with her fist or her gunblade. :3 Hope really has his work cut out for him.
Oh, and speaking of Hope, he needs to buy a gag. His mouth runs off at the worst possible time ever. But then, that's why reading this fanfic of yours is such a wonderful way to pass the time.
