"Yamada, come sit on my lap," beckoned Takaki.

"Eh?" Yamada looked at Takaki with a ‘what the hell did you just say’ face.

"Come sit on my lap," he repeated.

"Are you out of your mind, Takaki? I'm not a spoiled brat like Chinen who sits on everyone's lap," he said with a ‘as matter of a fact’ tone and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Okay, fine. Just come over here. I want to show you something."

Yamada walked over to the couch where Takaki was sitting on and stood in front of him. "What do you want to show me?" he asked curiously.

"Turn around."

Yamada raised an eyebrow wondering why he had to do that. He just did as he was told but then felt a pair of arms wrap around his waist and got pulled down. He suddenly realized that he was on Takaki's lap.

Takaki whispered softly into Yamada's ear, "You fell for my trap."

His eyes grew wide open. Yamada struggled to get off his lap but Takaki's grip on him was tight. "If only I was older and stronger," mumbled Yamada. After a few minutes of squirming, kicking, poking, and anything that he could think of, he lost all his energy and gave up. Takaki simply had this death grip on him.

"Can you let me go?" Yamada asked annoyed.

"Nope. You didn't even say please," Takaki answered, eyebrows furrowed together.

Yamada turned to face Takaki. "Can you please let me go?" Yamada said with pleading eyes and a pout. 'This look worked on everyone I used it on. Being in dramas really helps.’

Takaki just shook his head and chuckled. "Don't think you can use that on me. I've already seen Chinen use it many times," he said smirking.

Yamada turned back and scowled. 'How could his look have failed? Darn you, Chinen!' he thought. "When will you let me go?"

"Whenever I feel like it," Takaki replied smiling. He placed his head on Yamada's shoulders and gave him a little squeeze.

Yamada sighed. 'Since he won't let go anytime soon, I might as well go with the flow...' He leaned back and pressed against Takaki's body. 'This actually feels... nice and warm.... It’s very... comfortable... I can tell why Chinen does this a lot besides the whole spoiled part...' After a while, Yamada closed his eyes and fell sound asleep in Takaki's arms.

But little did they know that a pair of small beady eyes was watching them...

Hey! Say! JUMP had just finished a long dance rehearsal for Your Seed and all of them collapsed onto the dressing room floor.

“I can’t feel my legs anymore.” Yuto exhaled out, wiping off sweat with a towel.

“My voice is going to be gone by the end of the day if this keeps up,” complained Inoo while attempting to fix his hair.

“I’m aching all over…” rasped out Keito with a hand covering his forehead.

“Can I just die?” asked Ryutaro tiredly, body sprawled out on the ground.

“Sure, why not?” Hikaru answered mindlessly, dozing off.

“No dying. It proves that you need more exercise and need to get used to this. Our senpais have been through worse. And Hikaru, you’re not supposed to let Ryutaro say that he can die,” Yabu sighed out with his eyes closed.

“How can you still lecture after what we’ve been through?” murmured Daiki, fanning himself with magazine.

“Can we just get some water? I’m so thirsty…” whispered Takaki in a cracked voice, breathing hard.

“I’ll get water for all of us,” Chinen offered, getting up from his seat.

“Aww… thanks Chii. I’ll lend you my lap when you come back.” Takaki grinned and Chinen looked like he had just won the lottery.

“I’ll help you too, Chinen. You can’t carry them all by yourself.” Yamada wanted to lend a hand, too.

“I can do it myself!” Chinen insisted.

“Now isn’t the time to act like a spoiled brat…” Yabu started. “Just let Yamada help.”

“Fine… Let’s go,” the smaller boy gave in, not wanting to trouble Yabu any more.

Yamada went out the door followed by a pouting Chinen.

~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~

Chinen walked behind Yamada, matching stride by stride. Yamada felt a pair of eyes boring through his back and a very menacing aura but decided to ignore it. Suddenly Yamada was shoved from behind and almost lost his balance. Unless he imagined the push or if there were such things as ghosts, the only person who could’ve done it had to be Chinen since no one else was in the hallway. Yamada glanced over his shoulders to see Chinen pacing himself, staring at the ground. He decided to just shrug off the push and continue walking. All of a sudden, someone kicked his foot, causing Yamada to stumble forward. It felt like One Pound Gospel all over again, instead that this time, it was reality, not acting. He knew it was Chinen but thought that these bullying tactics would eventually stop… of course they didn’t. They kept on continuing until they reached the storage room.

~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~

“We had run out of water earlier but thank god we found these water bottle cases. They were hidden behind the boxes of clothes for some strange reason. We already ordered packages of water and they should arrive soon. Oh well, here’s five bottles for you each to carry,” a worker said.

“Arigatou gozaimasu!” Yamada and Chinen spoke in unison.

They were walking back to the dressing room, their hands full of bottles. Yamada got tripped again and couldn’t take it anymore. He whirled around and decided to confront Chinen. “If you have something to say, spit it out already.”

“Whatever are you talking about Yama-chan?” Chinen flashed an innocent look.

“You know what I’m talking about. Or are you trying to say that I’m imagining myself being tripped and pushed around?” questioned an impatient Yamada.

“Maybe you are,” Chinen retorted hastily. “Not my problem that you’re so clumsy.”

Yamada tried to not let Chinen get to him and through gritted teeth said, “I’m sorry that I’m so clumsy or so you say I am.” Then he started to walk again.

“I’m not going to let you have Yuuyan,” Chinen stated.

Yamada stopped in his tracks and turned around again.

“Eh? Now I don’t get what you’re talking about,” Yamada countered. ‘Or maybe I actually do…’

“Trying to act all innocent? Like it’s going to work. I’ll tell you what. I want YOU stay away from MY Yuuyan,” Chinen snarled.

“Are you crazy? Takaki-kun is my friend. How can I stay away from him? And I don’t believe that you own him either.” Yamada crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow. ‘What the hell am I trying to even say?’

“You’re a sly one aren’t you? Just your friend? So sitting on his lap doesn’t mean anything? I don’t believe you had permission to sit on MY Yuuyan’s lap.” He paused and took a deep breath before going on. “Seeing you turn down his offer of sitting on his lap so many times disgusts me. But what makes me more pissed off is that suddenly you took his offer and started cuddling up to him! You’re just playing with him, aren’t you?!” Chinen exclaimed.

“He tricked me into sitting on his lap! I was practically forced to!” Yamada protested even though he knew that he wasn’t telling the whole truth. He actually liked sitting on Takaki’s lap for the first time yesterday… even if Takaki had tricked him… not because it was nice and comfy… but more than that…He always rejected his offer because he was afraid of facing his own feelings… scared that he would also hurt Chinen… that this would happen…

“You’re lying! I can see it in your eyes! Plus he never asks me to sit on his lap! I have to go to him! That’s just not fair! You just ruined my day when you ‘offered’ to help me carry these stupid water bottles! I wanted to make Takaki notice me for once! And when he said that he would let me sit on his lap, I was so happy!” cried out Chinen who was on the verge of tears.

“Look… I-“ Yamada began.

“You don’t understand how I feel! You’re not making this any better! So stop talking!” Chinen’s body was shaking from frustration and struggling to keep his tears in.

Yamada decided that it was best to keep his mouth shut.

“So here’s the deal, stop trying to get all friendly with my Yuuyan! End of conversation!” A droplet of tear rolled down Chinen’s cheek. He wiped off his incoming tears with his sleeve and bit his bottom lip. “Let me have Yuuyan… is that so much to ask?” Chinen trailed off in a small, quivering voice and desperate eyes.

All that was heard in the empty hallway at the moment was the sound of a sniffle here and there.

“We… should hurry up with these water bottles… They’re probably wondering what’s taking so long and dying of thirst,” Yamada finally said, trying to suppress the heavy feeling in his heart.

Chinen didn’t say anything and started to walk ahead while Yamada just paced himself so that this time, he was beside Chinen… at a reasonable distance.

~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~

Johnny-san sighed and leaned back into his chair. “All this hard work… this calls for a drink!” He called for someone. “I want you to bring me one sake bottle case that’s hidden behind the boxes full of the Junior’s extra clothes.

“Don’t you mean water, sir?” the worker asked.

“No, they may look like water in the bottle but inside, there’s actually sake.” Johnny-san answered, folding his hands.

“Umm… so that was the reason why it was hidden, huh?” The worker suddenly became sweaty.

“Of course! Every staff member should’ve known that. I wouldn’t want anyone to find it, especially juniors or even debuted groups. Well, at least the debuted groups can hold their liquor but if Hey! Say! JUMP had their hands on it… those 7 members… I don’t want to even think about it.” Johnny-san shook his head at that horrible thought.

“And what if I said that Hey! Say! JUMP currently has 10 of those sake bottles?” squeaked the worker. Oh yeah, he was so screwed.

~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~

Chinen opened the door to the dressing room and hopped in. He forced a smile and shouted, “Water at your service!”

“What took you so long?” whined Yuto.

“We were on the brink of death!” Ryutaro flailed while Hikaru nodded in agreement. Yabu frowned and shook his head at the youngest member and Hikaru. Yamada came in from behind and started to pass the bottles out along with Chinen.

“Come sit on my lap, Chii.” Takaki beckoned for him to his lap as soon as Chinen finished passing the water out. The younger boy squealed in delight and bounced his way toward Takaki. He settled on the older boy’s lap and leaned back on his chest. Takaki wrapped his arms around Chinen’s waist and the 7 member snuggled into the embrace. Yamada’s stomach was lurching at the sight, both from guilt and seeing Chinen so happy with Takaki.

“Let’s drink them all at the same time,” Inoo suggested, taking a bottle from Yamada.

“That’s a great idea,” Keito agreed and the rest of the HSJ nodded their heads.

“Let us thank Kami-sama for providing us with water,” Arioka said.

“Itadakimasu!” everyone said together. They all twisted the bottle caps open and drank from it. The HSJ members had chugged all of the contents of the bottle.

“Umm… you guys? I don’t think this is water…” Takaki mused after finishing the ‘water.’

“More like… sake isn’t it?” Inoo asked after.

“Don’t tell me everyone just drank sake…” Arioka said slowly.

“Wait… so if everyone did…” Yabu started, a flicker of panic flashed through his eyes.

“Won’t 7 be drunk?” Hikaru said, finishing Yabu’s sentence. “That would be hilarious. I mean thank Kami-sama that we’re old enough to hold our drinks… but the 7 members, I don’t think so.” Hikaru started to laugh but realized that he was the only one doing it. “What?”

“BANZAI!!!” The BEST members had snapped their attention on a screaming Yuto. “BELIEF YOURSEEELF, YOU CAAAN GETTY ONE! BELIEF! JUUUST BELIEEEF! YOUUU CAN MAAAKE IT LUUUFF! LUUUFF IN THE AAAIR!!! FLYYY TOOO THE SKYYY!!! BROOOKEN RIIIDERRR!!! LET’S DIIIE WITH THE SKY SPIIIDERRR!!!” an off-pitched Yuto sang. He jumped up and down while flapping his arms.

“Umm… I think the alcohol got to him,” Hikaru observed thoughtfully.

Inoo whacked him on the head with the bottle. “That’s kind of obvious.”

“Each BEST member will be responsible for a 7 member. We should just take them home or something…” Yabu drifted off when he saw Ryutaro start swaying side to side, looking like he would fall at any second. He rushed over and held on to the youngest member’s arm.

“You know what? I never notish thish but… you look like my hamshter!” Ryutaro pointed out.

“Uhh…” Yabu wondered how he was supposed to respond to that. “Thank you?”

“Can you pleash bend down?” the younger boy asked, still swaying quite a bit. Yabu knew that Ryutaro was drunk but decided to go along with his request. What’s the harm in doing that, anyways? Ryutaro gently ran his fingers through Yabu’s hair. “Your hairsh ish sho shoft…”

Yabu smiled at that comment. A drunken Ryutaro wasn’t as bad as he thought he would be unlike a certain loud person. Ryutaro continued to pet him for a little while.

“From nowsh onsh, you shall be callsh Fuzzy Wuzzy,” Ryutaro declared. The leader just blinked. What kind of name was Fuzzy Wuzzy? “Fushy Wushy! You’re shooo cuuute!” he gushed. “I wantsh to takesh you homesh! Ryutaro grabbed Yabu’s shirt and attempted to drag him outside the door with all his might. “Whysh are yoush sho heavysh? Let’sh go homesh andsh-“ Ryutaro had let go of Yabu’s shirt and collapsed onto the ground with a thud. Apparently he had passed out.

Hikaru went to go check on Keito. The English boy seemed fine since he was sitting still and seemed as if he was daydreaming.

“Keito? Are you alright?” Hikaru nervously asked, sitting next to him. He didn’t know the reason for his sudden anxiousness. Maybe it was because this was probably the first time he actually talked to Keito.

“I’m fine… I mean… in England, there’s this thing called beer. And beer is practically the same thing as sake, isn’t it?” Keito answered calmly, still dazed.

Hikaru breathed out a sigh of relief. “It’s a good thing that you’re not drunk like the other 7 members. I mean-“ He didn’t know why he stopped talking.

Maybe it was that weird look that Keito was giving him right now. Keito stared into Hikaru’s eyes, as if he was searching for something and gave a heartwarming smile. The next thing that happened made Hikaru froze up and speechless. Keito had launched himself onto the older member and placed a sloppy, wet kiss on his cheek.

Finally Hikaru pushed him away and spoke. “I thought you weren’t drunk,” he said turning away, blushing.

“I never said I wasn’t… I guess sake has the same effect as beer...” Keito grinned goofily and scooted closer-than-needed to Hikaru.

Inoo groaned, “Why did they leave me with Yuto?” He didn’t want to take care of Yuto. Who knew what a drunk, hyper Yuto could do? “At least, he stopped singing.”

Yuto had stopped jumping and was currently running around instead, continuing his flaps. “BANZAI! BANZAI! BANZAI!” Yuto bellowed. His Banzais had suddenly stopped when Inoo heard a thump. Yuto had collided with a wall and landed on the ground. Inoo quickly went over to the tallest 7 member.

“Note to self, never have Yuto near alcohol ever again,” he muttered. “Yuto, did you hurt yourself?” Yuto glanced up and giggled. Inoo raised an eyebrow, wondering what could be so funny. The hyper member stood up and started to run again.

“Stop running, damn it!” Inoo chased after Yuto. “This is even more tiring than the dance rehearsal,” he panted out, running.

The drunken member stopped in his tracks and faced Inoo. Yuto had on a serious face and slowly advanced to the BEST member. Inoo was beyond confused at this point and backed away little by little. Yuto suddenly ran head on toward Inoo like a bull charging at a matador waving a red cape. Inoo’s eyes widened and before he could get away, Yuto tackled him at full force to the ground.

Chinen had his arms around Takaki’s neck, head rubbing against his chest, eyes closed. “Like… I can like… hear your heartbeat… it’s like going doki doki like in those mangas! So soothing…” He raised his head up to see Takaki’s face, winked, and put on the cutest smile he could do.

“I think I should take you home, Chii,” Takaki said with much concern.

“Eh? But I wanted to like, spend some time with you.” Chinen’s puppy eye look was tempting but Takaki resisted it for once.

“We can hang out together tomorrow or something. Let’s get you home today for you to get some rest alright?” Chinen’s puppy eye look went to the max; they were beyond watery, looking like tears were going to fall soon. Takaki sighed and gave in. The puppy eye look just got to him every time.

“What? Do you like, hate me that much???” Chinen asked, untangling his arms from his neck and pouting.

“No of course not! I could never hate you.” He shook his head.

“So you like, don’t hate me? Do you like me?” Chinen questioned.

“I like you…” Takaki admitted, ruffling his hair.

“As like, more than a friend?” Chinen looked down, embarrassed, expecting rejection to hit him at full force.

“Yes, I do,” the BEST member replied, smiling.

His heart grew 10 times bigger. “So does this mean like, we’re going out?” Chinen felt someone tugging his shirt hard and got annoyed. “What do you want?” he snapped. He was asking a very important question.

“I really need to talk to you!” Yamada pleaded. Before neither one could protest, he dragged Chinen away from Takaki. All of a sudden, Chinen was pushed to the ground. “This is what you get for earlier!” yelled Yamada.

“What the hell is like, wrong with you? I didn’t do like, anything wrong! And you like, totally made a fool out of ME!!!” Chinen shrilled.

“No one cares!!!” Yamada continued. “Plus you’re a LAP SLU-“ Before Yamada could finish, he felt a hand land across his cheek hard. “You did NOT just slap me…” Yamada growled.

“Oh, I would like, be glad to demonstrate what I just did,” Chinen taunted, forming an L with his index finger and thumb. “LOSER.”

Suddenly Chinen was in a headlock by Yamada. The older 7 member grabbed a handful of the latter’s hair and started to pull. Takaki and Daiki rushed over to the fight, seeing as the situation had gotten way out of hand since violence was now involved.

Chinen was simply laughing like a crazy maniac ignoring the pain. “Is like, the liar jealous? Aww… I’m like, sooo sorry!!! Yeah, righ- OW!” Yamada tugged harder. “But you want to know a secret? Takaki confessed to me just a few minutes ago… so he’s my boyfriend starting today,” Chinen whispered in Yamada’s ear before cackling like a mad scientist. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Yamada’s knuckles were about to come in contact with his face when Takaki interfered and stopped it. Daiki pried off Yamada’s arm from Chinen’s neck and stood between both of them. Hiding behind Daiki, Chinen peeked from his back, and stuck out his tongue, provoking Yamada again. Takaki held him back from doing anything worse.

“Let me at him!” shouted the angry member.

“Just calm down, Yamada,” Takaki replied.

“Shut up! Stop playing with people’s feelings! Let me go, you jerk!” Yamada struggled to get out of the older member’s grasp but to no avail.

“How am I even doing that? Look at me and tell me!” Now Takaki had snapped. Yamada just blabbered some nonsense and he didn’t even know what he did wrong. He turned the 7 member around and saw tears making its way down his round, pinch-able cheeks. Takaki’s grip on Yamada had loosened and he took his chance to run out the door embarrassed, leaving behind a bewildered Takaki, confused Daiki, and smirking Chinen.

“I’ll go check on him,” Takaki finally said. “Dai-chan, you take care of Chinen okay?”

Daiki nodded but Chinen shook his head. “Don’t go, Yuuyan! Why can’t like, Dai-chan take care of Yama-chan?”

Takaki didn’t say anything but tossed a bag over a shoulder and headed for the door.

“PLEASE DON’T GO, YUUYAN!!! I BEG YOU!!! WHY ARE YOU GOING TO LIKE, YAMA-CHAN??? AREN’T YOU LIKE, MY BOYFRIEND???” he shrieked.

The BEST member tripped over a pile of clothes. “What? I don’t remember being one…”

“B-BUT… YOU SAID THAT YOU LIKED ME AS MORE THAN A FRIEND!!! WHAT ELSE COULD LIKE, THAT MEAN???” Chinen started to panic, afraid of what Takaki was going to say. This couldn’t be reality. This had to be just a dream but it wasn’t…

Takaki scratched his head. “I didn’t mean it that way… I’m sorry if I made you think that. I meant as a brother… Plus there’s someone else who has been watching over you all this time… someone who could make you happy… I really have to catch up to Yama-chan now…” He left running out the door, feeling guilty about Chinen and worried about Yamada.

Chinen just stood there, silent. His heart… his little heart… shattered into millions of pieces. “Yuuyan…” he murmured in a soft, wavering voice. “Yuu… yan… I… I LIKE YOU!!! I LIKE you! I like you…” he drifted off. His throat felt dry from yelling with all his might. The pain in his chest increased, knowing that Takaki would never hear his confession… would never accept his feelings… that he would never like him back…He fell to his knees, ignoring the pain that shot through them while tears flowed out from his eyes. Droplets slowly fell to the ground. Chinen didn’t care anymore, the feeling in his heart hurt too much. Suddenly he felt a pair of arms embrace him.

“Don’t cry, Chii. You know how much it hurts me to see you in tears?” Daiki whispered. Chinen didn’t know what he was supposed to react. This was too much for him. He just sobbed, grabbing onto Daiki’s shirt.

“When you’re happy, I’m happy. When you’re sad, I’m sad,” he continued.

Chinen cried harder. More tears came out when he heard those words.

“I’ll always be here when you need me…” Daiki gently stroked Chinen’s hair.

“A-Ari… Ariga… Arigatou, D-Dai-ch-chan…” he hiccuped as he hugged back Daiki, wiping off his tears with the older member’s shirt. Daiki squeezed back and gave a comforting pat.

~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~

“WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE???!!!” roared Johnny-san as he opened the door. He saw Ryutaro on the ground unconscious with a Yabu trying to wake him up by poking his sides, a Keito on top of Hikaru who was pinned down on the couch, a Yuto sitting on Inoo’s back bouncing up and down yelling, “GIDDY UP HORSEY!”, and a crying Chinen being comforted by Daiki. “WHERE ARE TAKAKI AND YAMADA??? AND GET HEY! SAY! 7 HOME ALREADY, YOU BEST MEMBERS!!!” He was already getting a huge migraine. “That worker is going to be fired if it’s the last thing I do,” he muttered to himself angrily.

~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~

Takaki managed to catch up to Yamada and grasp his wrist. He tried to get out of Takaki’s grip with great effort but it was useless.

“Let me go!!! Why did you follow me? Can’t you just leave me alone???” Yamada cried out, teary-eyed.

“I’m supposed to take care of you! And you’re still drunk nevertheless! It’s dangerous! What if you were to have an accident or something?” Takaki replied back hastily.

“Since when did you start caring?” Yamada cut him off when Takaki tried to answer. “You already have Chinen… but why does my heart ache whenever I think about it? I don’t understand! I hate myself for feeling this way!!! Why…why did I have to fall in love with you???” he bawled out. He couldn’t help crying uncontrollably. He had just blurted out all the feelings he kept in. Suddenly, he felt dizzy and everything faded out to black.

~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~*^*~

Yamada woke up with a minor headache. His eyes squinted at the sunlight that peeked its way through the blinds. “What happened yesterday? Ugh… my head…” He sat up, back against the headrest.

Someone knocked on his door gently and went in. “Ryosuke? Are you awake?” his mom asked.

“Yeah…” he murmured, still half asleep.

“Well good. I have been so worried about you. Thank goodness your friend piggybacked you here safe and sound. He’s downstairs right now. I’ll tell him to come up here.”

“My friend? Which friend?” Everything that happened yesterday was still a blur.

“Takaki-kun, of course!” his mom chirped. She walked out the door while Yamada tried to absorb the information.

“Takaki? Hmm… wait…” Memories flashed through his mind. Sitting on Takaki’s lap… harassed by Chinen… attacking him… yelling at Takaki… crying… confessing… wait… CONFESSING???!!! "Why…why did I have to fall in love with you???" 'Oh crap crap crap crap crap crap crap!!!'

“Hey, Yamada?” Takaki called out softly, knocking on the door. He got no response and entered. There on the bed was a huddled shape under a strawberry blanket. Takaki sat on the bed and poked the bundle. The bundle flinched and squeaked out, “Eeky!” He poked it again and got a squealed, “Acky!” as a response.

“If you don’t come out, I’ll attack you.” The thing didn’t move so Takaki poked at the sides and all over. It squirmed and finally a head popped out. Takaki glomped the bundle. “What you said yesterday… was it true?” All he got was silence. “Are you in love with me? Or was that just the sake talking?” More silence. “If what you said was true… then I feel the same way. I like you…” he said in an almost inaudible whisper.

“You’re lying…” Yamada mumbled.

“Would I ask you to sit on my lap constantly if I didn’t?” he asked confidently.

“But… you’re already with Chinen… he even told me…” Yamada muttered.

“Chii… had a misunderstanding… I hurt his feelings…but… Dai-chan is there... I think Chii needs someone like Dai-chan…”

“Oh…” Yamada didn’t know what to say. Chinen got rejected…

“I’m not lying. I really like you, Yamada…” Takaki spoke in a tone, which implied that he was serious.

“But Chinen is way cuter than me. He can even do that puppy eye look and can do all these cartwheels and twirls and pirouettes and somersaults and spins and flips and all those other complicated dance moves! And when he sat on your lap, my heart went all twisty! And when he said that you were his boyfriend, I got angry and violent…” Yamada didn’t know why would Takaki like him. He felt that he was no match against Chinen.

“None of that matters, Yamada. You’re you and that’s why I like you.” Takaki hugged him tightly as he said that. “So… you were jealous of Chinen? Why?”

Yamada quickly exclaimed, “No, I wasn’t!” and buried himself in his blanket, blushing. After a moment, he said, “The reason is… that… I like you, too…” He felt the warmth of the blanket vanish as Takaki pulled it away. Yamada felt vulnerable since he had nowhere to hide.

Takaki’s eyes found its way to Yamada’s. The older member’s eyes were full of honesty and love. Yamada couldn’t tear his eyes away and felt himself getting red in the cheeks. Takaki cupped his face and leaned forward, gently pressing his lips against his forehead. Yamada closed his eyes, heart beating like crazy and let him take the lead. Then Takaki moved his way down and planted a kiss on his lips. It was a sweet and tender kiss. Yamada kissed him back, arms wrapped tightly around Takaki’s body. After a while, they pulled away, trying to catch their breaths.

“Umm… Takaki… can I sit on your lap?” he asked in between breaths.

“Of course you can, anytime and anywhere you want.” Takaki answered with a smile. Yamada sat on his lap, snuggling in his arms and sighed in content.

“Promise me something. Your lap can only be reserved for me and me only. No one else. Not even Chinen. Or else I’ll attack him again. I should give him a warning, too…” Yamada said with determination.

Takaki chuckled. “Hai hai, Yamada. I promise.”

EPILOGUE:

“FUZZY WUZZY PAPA BEAR!!!”

Yabu groaned. This had been continuing on for a while… Hikaru’s taunts.

“FUZZY WUZZY WAS A BEAR, FUZZY WUZZY HAD NO HAIR! FUZZY WUZZY WASN’T FUZZY WAS HE??? NO! HE WAS A BALDY WALDY!” Hikaru sang enthusiastically.

“I’m so sorry, Yabu-kun!!!” Ryutaro looked like he was going to cry. “I-I didn’t mean to!!!” He started to wail.

“No, Ryutaro! It wasn’t your fault. You were under the influence of sake. Plus Hikaru is just being a meanie.” He patted the youngest member’s shoulder with assurance. “Boys don’t cry either.”

Ryutaro sniffled and nodded.

“Gomenasai, Chinen!” Yamada bowed in apology. “I’m sorry that I used violence and pulled your hair… and even called you a lap slu-“

“No no no!” Chinen interrupted. “I should be the one saying sorry. I provoked you to do those things in the first place. I’m sorry that I pushed and tripped you. I was very rude to you. Apparently Dai-chan said that I called you a loser and slapped you even though I don’t remember. SUMIMASEN! Will you forgive me?” He also bowed.

“No,” Yamada growled.

“Eh???” Chinen’s eyes started to water, worrying that he made Yamada have a grudge on him.

“Unless you stop sitting on Takaki’s lap,” Yamada declared, crossing his arms.

His expression turned into a relieved one. “Haha, don’t worry, Yama-chan. I prefer Dai-chan’s lap.” Chinen gave a knowing smile to Daiki and he gave one back. It seemed that those two had a little secret of their own.

“Wow… Takaki has got himself a possessive boyfriend, ne?” Hikaru popped in.

Yamada blushed and Takaki gave Hikaru his Gokusen glare, wrapping his arms protectively around the 7 member.

Hikaru felt someone tap his shoulder and turned around to find a pale looking Keito. “Ano, Hikaru… I didn’t do anything weird yesterday, right?” he asked shakily.

“You know… you should be drunk more often,” Hikaru said with a smirk. “I admit that I was surprised but I really like a kissing Keito.”

Keito looked like he was going to faint from embarrassment since his face got really red at that comment.

“Hey minna!!!” A hyper Yuto skipped in happily humming a tune. “Everyone is almost here… except Inoo-chan. Is he sick or something?”

“Yuto… you seriously don’t remember what happened?” Yabu questioned.

“Eh? What do you mean?” Yuto raised an eyebrow wondering what could’ve occurred.

“Inoo can’t come today. He has some ‘back’ issues thanks to you bouncing on him.”

Johnny-san went to the storage room to get his hidden stash of sake. He decided to give that worker a second chance. After all, he didn’t know about the sake. When he went to the hiding spot, the sake was gone.

“WE GOT AN EMERGENCY” screamed a staff member.

“What is it???” demanded Johnny-san. He had a bad feeling about this.

“THE JUNIORS SOMEHOW GOT THEIR HANDS ON SAKE AND NOW THEY’RE ALL DRUNK!!!”

“I AM SO GOING TO FIRE THAT WORKER!!!” raged Johnny-san as he stomped off to find the culprit.
