"Hey, Yuto. What happened?" Keito asked, looking at the big red 11 on the quiz they got back. It was out of 30 points.

Yuto shrugged and faked a laugh. He mentally smacked himself for not telling what he actually did but this was for the best... right?

"Bad day?" Keito looked at him with concern. "Your mom was worried."

"I guess..." Yuto didn't want Keito to keep asking. It was hard to not tell the truth. "Come on, let's do English homework."

As he worked on it with Keito hovering over his shoulder, he smiled.

"Yuto, mini pop quiz from me."

Yuto straightened up. It was unusual for Keito to test them but then his friend did want what's best for him.

"Which comes first, the subject or verb?"

"The subject obviously," Yuto answered automatically. That was practically the first thing he learned from Keito and he never forgot about it.

Yuto had a bad feeling when Keito flashed unreadable eyes. Keito stared at his test more closely before speaking.

"Yuto... don't tell me you actually got this bad score on purpose..." He froze in response. How did Keito find out? It probably showed on his face Keito was right on the dot since he added, "Don't lie to me, Yuto." He nodded slowly, seeing that there was nowhere to run.

"You don't usually get this kind of score after I started tutoring you. Obviously, you aren't sick either. And your erasing marks aren't that great since I could see the correct answer underneath. Plus the incorrect thing you only did was that you switched the subject and verb."

Yuto secretly cursed the eraser's efficiency and also the fact, he failed at making it not so obvious but that wasn't the point now. His questions had been answered by Keito already. He was so meticulous, wasn't he?

"Why did you do such a stupid thing?" Keito asked.

"How am I supposed to know?" Yuto retorted back helplessly. "I don't know. I guess... I didn't want you to leave?" Just throwing out whatever he was feeling to Keito was the best way to handle this situation.

Keito had on a confused look. "We can still see each other at school or meet up after."

Yuto clutched the front of his shirt. He was frustrated with himself. What was he even feeling right now? "I don't even understand myself. For some reason, thinking about you leaving makes me feel... lonely for the first time." After the words left his mouth, he suddenly felt self conscious. Somehow what he said sounded weirder than usual.

Keito's face had softened and his cheeks had turned a light shade of red. Awkward silence took over a few moments. "You know... you didn't have to go through all that trouble."

"Ehhh?" What did Keito mean by that?

"I mean, if you wanted me to stay and continue tutoring you, all you had to do was tell me." Keito smiled.

"Really?" Yuto questioned in disbelief. Was it really that easy?

Keito nodded and walked over to him. Yuto was surprised when Keito wrapped his arms around him. This was the first time Keito had hugged him instead of the other way around. Yuto leaned into the embrace, taking in Keito's scent and warmth. He felt not only at ease but when he pulled away, seeing Keito's smile, his own face grew warm. Earlier his heart was aching but now it was beating furiously. "I sh-should finish my homework," he said quickly.

Keito let go and Yuto couldn't help but feel a wave of disappointment wash over him. "Don't do this again okay?"

He nodded and as he continued his homework happily, still not sure what this new feeling was building up in his heart.

"Yuto! Yuto!" Chinen exclaimed with a bright smile, yanking on the hem of Yuto's shirt.

"Yes, Chii?" Yuto chuckled to himself. Chinen was really cute sometimes.

"Umm... if you're not busy tomorrow, how about we hang out together?" Chinen suddenly got fidgety.

Yuto grinned. "Of course! We haven't gone out in forever!"

Chinen squeaked in excitement and hugged Yuto.

The taller boy pat his back and looked over to Ryutaro. "Hey, Ryutaro. Are you busy tomorrow?"

Chinen stopped his jumping and glanced up with dejected eyes. Another weird mood change was what Yuto concluded.

"Actually I am," Ryutaro said. "I need to babysit my brother and sister. Sorry!"

It was strange that Ryutaro didn't seem that annoyed this time to be babysitting. Usually he would groan and complain about it but today he wasn't.

"Aww... it's alright." Yuto was a bit disappointed but things come up right? It was just at a bad time. "How about you, Yama-chan?"

Yamada looked at Chinen for a brief moment. "I have tutoring here tomorrow so no for me, too."

Yuto frowned a little bit. He really did want everyone to go. And Saturday was probably the only free day for them all but he sighed. They could always hang out some other time. But there was still one hope. After all, he was pretty sure Keito was free. When he was about to ask Keito, the bell rang. He told himself to remember to ask the Engrish boy later that day.

Fortunately, Yuto had finished his homework during school. Even when he told Keito this, the latter still came over to his house.

"Oka-chan!" Raiya rushed over to Keito and tackled him.

Keito laughed and ruffled his little brother's hair.

Yuto plopped himself onto the couch as he watched Keito wrestling with Raiya.

Raiya giggled and kept on rolling on the ground and Yuto laughed, clearly amused.

He sighed, leaning against the cushions and something clicked in his head. He was supposed to ask Keito something but what was it? Yuto racked his head, hoping to remember.

"What are you doing?"

Yuto became startled to see that Keito had seated himself next to him, drinking some juice. "When did you get here? Where's Raiya?"

Keito raised an eyebrow. "Just now? And he went to do his homework. What's wrong? You seem a bit out of it."

"Hmm... I was thinking. I was going to ask you something but I forgot..." Yuto told him, frowning.

Keito nodded as he stared up at the ceiling.

Yuto went through what happened in the morning and what's when it clicked, when he thought of Chinen and tomorrow. "Keito! Chii and I are gonna hang out tomorrow. Want to join?" he asked as he turned towards Keito.

The boy sitting beside him blinked. He didn't say anything and pursed his lips together. "Umm..."

"Please?" Yuto moved closer to him. "The more, the merrier!" Yuto exclaimed as he took a hold of Keito's hands. "Come on, it'll be fun."

"I..." Keito trailed off, seemingly uncomfortable.

Yuto's expression fell. "Are you busy tomorrow? Or you don't want to... go...?"

Keito shook his head. "I'm free tomorrow and it's not like I don't want to go..."

"Then you're going!" Yuto's happiness went straight up as he bounced up and down. They could do so many things together.

Keito gave a sheepish smile and nodded slowly while Yuto couldn't wait for tomorrow to come.
