"Eh? Oka-chan? You're already friends with nii-chan?" Raiya asked with big eyes full of curiosity.

Keito ruffled Raiya's hair affectionately. "No," he answered with a gentle voice.

Yuto couldn't help but smile seeing the interaction between Raiya and Keito.

"Raiya-chan, Oka-chan needs to talk to your nii-chan," Keito told him.

Yuto blinked. Keito wanted to talk to him? And about what exactly?

Raiya gave a sad look. "I'll play with you some more after we're done, okay? I promise," Keito assured him, offering his pinky. Raiya giggled and hooked pinkies with Keito before agreeing.

They went to Yuto's room though along the way, he felt a bit weird. He apologized for the mess in his room.

"It's okay," Keito answered, sitting on Yuto's bed.

There was a weird and awkward atmosphere between both of them. Yuto squirmed, uncomfortable since he had never been in this kind of situation. Usually he would be chipper when it came to meeting new people but it seemed as if Keito had some sort of different aura from the others. "So... at school... in the restroom," he managed to say out loud.

Keito seemed to tense up as Yuto brought up the topic. "Don't tell my mom about it," Keito said quickly.

"Ehh? B-but you're being bu-"

"I just don't want to worry my mom," Keito interrupted. Yuto noticed Keito gripping his blanket. "I can deal with it... myself."

Feeling weirder about this since it sounded like Keito would be mad if he pressed on, Yuto decided to go on another topic. "So it seems that Raiya likes you."

Keito finally raised his head, giving a small smile. "Yeah he's cute."

Yuto bounced over, sitting next to Keito. "Oh my god, I know right? He's so adorable! I'm so happy that he's my little brother!" he squealed, smiling.

"Do you have some sort of brother complex?"

He gave a pout. "You have a problem with that? I mean I can't help it that I just want to hug and play with Raiya all the time." Yuto could feel himself going incoherent over his little brother. "You're also the same," he added, laughing.

Yuto stopped when he noticed Keito looking at him weirdly. "Yes...?" Why was he always getting himself into these kinds of situations? Where it's like he did something wrong yet again?

"You're interesting," Keito stated, pushing himself up and then walking away with his hands in his pockets.

Yuto tilted his head to the side. He wasn't sure if that was supposed to be a compliment but shrugged it off as one.

He snuggled against his blankets and hugged his pillow. Maybe he could take a nap and do homework later. As he was about to fall asleep, the covers started to slip away. Yuto yanked it back but something was tugging it, too.

"Nii-chan, mommy is calling for you to go downstairs. Oka-chan and his mama are leaving soon so we should say bye bye," Raiya said with a hint of urgency.

Groaning, Yuto got out of bed and went downstairs with his brother holding his hand. He rubbed his eyes with his other hand, yawning.

All of a sudden, his mom announced, "We have good news for you, Yuto!"

Keito had turned his head away, staring at some random family portrait of theirs.

Yuto let go of Raiya, wondering what it could be. "What is it? I'm not grounded anymore?" He tried to make his eyes water.

His mom smiled. "You're still grounded." Yuto frowned.

"But..." Okamoto-san continued, beckoning her son to come over. When that didn't work, she grabbed Keito's arm and shoved him in front of Yuto. "We got you a tutor."

"What?" Yuto wasn't sure if he was hearing right. "A tutor?"

"To help you in English."

Yuto nodded slowly. "Who's my tutor?"

"Your tutor is right here," his mom answered, smiling.

Yuto looked around the room and saw no one unfamiliar. "Where?"

"In front of you." Yuto saw Keito glancing aside.

Okamoto-san laughed. "My son, Keito of course. He's the top of your class isn't he?"

Before Yuto could make any comment, she continued. "So he'll come everyday with you after school to help you until you finish your English homework."

"Now isn't Keito-kun so nice?" his mom asked him with that look. "Please take care of Yuto."

Yuto rolled his eyes. Why did it sound like he was going to get married or something? But Keito as a tutor? All he hoped was that he wasn't causing him any trouble and that he didn't have a short temper like a certain someone else he knew. He bowed, thanking them for their kindness.

"Keito, say something," Okamoto-san urged him.

"I'll try my best," Keito murmured. "Thank you, Nakajima-san and bye, Rai-chan." He left the house without waiting for his mom.

Raiya waved with a sad face. Yuto whispered, "Oka-chan will be here tomorrow."

With that sentence, Raiya's mood changed like the flick of a light switch. "Yay!"

"I apologize for my son," Okamoto-san said. "Bye and it was so nice meeting you again. I hope you two will become good friends like us." Then she left.

As his mom closed the door, he started to head upstairs to do his homework. Luckily it wasn't due until the day after tomorrow. But he had other random things in his mind. Like the change in Keito's mood; he was clearly upset now.

Yuto collapsed on his desk, waiting for the others to come.

A few seconds later, Chinen bounced in with a bright face. "Morning, Yuto~"

He smiled and opened up his arms. "Hey, Chii!"

Chinen giggled and rushed towards him, glomping Yuto.

Hugging him back, Yuto grinned mischievously. It seemed like Chinen forgot what he had said on the phone yesterday. Then he used both his index fingers to poke Chinen on the sides.

Chinen squealed from laughter as he squirmed. Yuto laughed and finally released him since the other students started to stare at them.

"What was that for?" Chinen pouted as he stood a few feet away.

"For yesterday." Yuto stuck out his tongue playfully.

Ryutaro was the next one to come in with a grimaced face. Yuto got a bit worried at this. Ryutaro was probably still mad at him after all.

He was surprised when the young boy stood in front of his desk with a serious face. "Umm... how should I say this?" Ryutaro looked uncomfortable and scratched his head awkwardly. "It's not like it's my fault you can't grab the concepts easily."

Yuto blinked, confused. He wasn't sure what Ryutaro was even getting at or why he made that comment.

"In other words, Ryu-chan is sorry about yesterday," Chinen translated, eyes full of amusement.

Realization washed over Yuto and his mouth curved upward. "It's okay, Ryutaro. I'm not the brightest person out there either so I'm sorry, too."

Ryutaor's face lit up at this and he went to sit in his seat.

"Ryu-chan is too cute," Chinen commented, giggling again.

Yuto nodded. "If you think he's too cute, why don't you ask him out?" Yuto joked.

For some reason, Chinen was shocked. "NO!"

Yuto was a bit startled with Chinen's outburst. "I was just kidding..." Yuto raised an eyebrow. Maybe this was a touchy topic for Chinen?

"Chinen already likes someone," Yamada interjected, heading for the chair to the left of Yuto.

"Shut up, Yama-chan!" Chinen exclaimed, whacking him with cheeks tinted red.

"For whatever reason, violence is not the answer," Ryutaro added as he too, received a smack from Chinen.

"Ehhh? Are you serious? Chii likes someone?" Yuto asked in disbelief. "How come I don't know? Who is it?" He told himself that he shouldn't joke around like that anymore when it came to relationships and such. And he would also support Chinen whoever it was.

"N-no one!" Chinen exclaimed a bit too loud. "Anyways, why did you have to go so soon?"

The bell rang as he was about to press on and Yuto whispered, "Tell you guys later if there's time," to answer Chinen's question.

The teacher was present and started to call roll. In the middle of it, a sound of running footsteps was heard. It was Keito again?

But something was different this time. His hair was completely flat and wet while his uniform was soaked at certain areas. He apologized and sat down without a glance at anyone.

Many murmurs occured throughout the class. "Quiet down," the sensei told the students.

"I wonder what happened," Yamada murmured.

Yuto turned and as he tried to make eye contact with Keito, he diverted his eyes away automatically when they met. Yuto's heart fell at the sight of Keito. He reminded him of an abandoned kitten soaked in the rain with no place to go to, all alone.
