"Hey, Yuto. Have you seen Yama-chan?" Takaki asked, biting his bottom lip.

Yuto smiled and nodded.

"So where is he?"

"Oh Yama-chan told me not to tell you," Yuto answered. Earlier Yamada came inside the room and told Yuto to not say anything when Takaki came in.

Takaki frowned and shook his head. "Can you at least give me a hint where he is?"

Yuto pursed his lips. "Mmm... he's in this room."

"Thanks." Takaki scanned the room and headed for the closet, opening it, revealing a huddled Yamada. "Found you, Yama-chan~"

Yamada laughed and launched himself onto Takaki, hugging him around the waist.

Takaki ruffled Yamada's hair, bending down to kiss his forehead, causing the younger boy to blush shyly.

Yuto felt his eyes start to slightly water and blinked back the tears. He walked out the door to get some fresh air. Once Yuto got at a reasonable distance in the hallway, he leaned against the wall and slumped down on the ground, sighing and shutting his eyes.

"Yuto... it's okay to cry..."

Yuto opened his eyes and saw Daiki bending down to his level. He smiled at Daiki and waved. "What are you talking about? Why cry?"

Daiki plopped down in front of him. "I... saw what happened back there..."

The taller boy shrugged. "Ne, it's okay! I'm fine, really."

Daiki frowned. "You're lying."

"Eh? What do you mean, Dai-chan?"

"What I just said. You can cry... no one else is here anyways."

Yuto tilted his head to the side. "But I don't need to cry. Dai-chan, you're acting really weird." He laughed, pushing himself up. He was about to leave when Daiki grabbed his wrist.

"I'll be here if you need me. I mean it, Yuto," Daiki stated, staring at him with serious eyes.

Yuto paused, eyes showing a flicker of sadness but lighting up. "Geez, you say the weirdest things for a seventeen year old shorty."

Daiki released him and didn't say anything while Yuto bounced away. "I know you're not as energetic as usual..." he whispered, watching Yuto's back until he turned a corner.

------------------------------------------------

Yuto clenched his fists at the sight and looked away but unfortunately their voices could still be heard.

"Takaki-kuuun~ Let's go on a date later," Yamada chirped.

"Where do you want to go?" Takaki asked.

"Hmm... I don't know. Where do you want to go?"

"I asked you first."

"But I'm the one who suggested it!" Yamada retorted.

"Anywhere... as long as I'm with you," Takaki finally answered. "Kawaii~ You're so red, Yama-chan."

Yuto bit his bottom lip and screwed his eyes tight.

"Okay, break it up, you two. I think I'm about to throw up with the mushiness," a familiar voice spoke. "Plus you two need to get changed."

Yuto turned his head and saw Daiki with a frown on his face and hands on his waist.

"Mou... you're starting to sound like Yabu-kun..." Yamada whined, slipping off Takaki's lap while intertwining his fingers with the older boy's.

"He's just grumpy because he doesn't have a boyfriend yet," Takaki said quietly.

Daiki frowned even more with eyebrows furrowed together. "Hey! I heard that!"

"And also the fact that he can't get taller and he could never be called hot or sexy," Takaki quickly added, pulling Yamada with him to get away from the furious Daiki.

A small giggle escaped from Yuto's lips and Daiki looked at him. The 7 member smiled but his eyes told a different story.

Daiki walked over to him with hands in his pockets. "So... are you okay?"

"Of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?"

Daiki tilted his head at the door and Yuto's expression fell. "That didn't bother me," he stated firmly.

"I didn't say anything," Daiki countered.

"But you were implying it!" Yuto exclaimed. He realized that his voice became louder so he looked down at the floor.

Silence grew between them.

"Sorry... I didn't mean to raise my voice... and make assumptions..." Yuto murmured.

"There's nothing to be sorry about," Daiki told him. "You should get changed, too."

Yuto slowly made his way towards the door. His voice was barely audible but Daiki could still hear him. "Thanks... for earlier..."

------------------------------------------------

"Yuto-kun! Let's go out today!" Yamada exclaimed.

"Eh?" Yuto smiled, gently, know that it was just a friendly... "What about Takaki-kun?"

Yamada frowned and crossed his arms, sulking. "Oh... he had plans with Yabu-kun," he muttered.

"So I'm just a person you go to when Takaki-kun isn't with you?" Yuto snapped. He couldn't help but say that and it was too late to take it back.

Yamada eye's widened from Yuto's sudden harsh tone. "It's not like tha-"

"Yama-chan?"

Yamada turned around and found Takaki in front of him. "What are you doing here?" His mouth curved into a pout. "Weren't you supposed to be with Yabu-kun?"

Takaki dangled his arms over Yamada's shoulders, pressing his cheeks against Yamada's chubby ones. "It got canceled because Yabu-kun suddenly remembered that he had a date with Inoo-chan. Plus I didn't want to leave my cute Yama-chan alone."

Yuto didn't know if he could take it anymore when he heard his name being called. He felt someone covering his eyes and pulling him away.

"Come on, Yuto, let's go hang out," Daiki declared.

Yuto was led outside and seated on a bench, near a huge tree.

"Want to talk about it?"

Yuto forced a smile. "Talk about what? How you have something in your hair?" He bent closer, brushing away a leaf.

"Talk about you..."

"Dai-chan, you worry too much. I'm happy." Yuto knew he was lying to himself and Daiki but he continued grinning.

Suddenly, Yuto was being shaken by Daiki. "Yuto.... Look... I know you don't want to worry anyone... since you're probably the most caring person I have ever met in my life... but why don't you think about yourself? Worry about yourself for once... Be selfish. Say what you want. Express your feelings... If you're sad, then cry... If you're mad, then let it out... Don't keep it all in. It just..."

Those words shot through his heart like an arrow, piercing ever so slowly and painfully. Yuto felt a droplet of tear fall on his hand.

"Hurts me seeing you this way..." Daiki mumbled softly with meaningful eyes, peering into Yuto's.

Yuto bit his bottom lip as memories flashed through his mind... his laughs... how he made his heart skip a beat with just one look... the hugs... just everything... Instead of pushing his feelings down like he had been doing for the past week, he embraced them. Tears streamed down his face like a waterfall and sobbed, clutching at Daiki's shirt. The BEST member slipped an arm around the latter's waist, rubbing his back soothingly.

After crying for what seemed to be like hours, Yuto managed to calm down though he was still hiccuping. Daiki's shirt was completely wet but it didn't seem like he cared. He continued patting Yuto and hugged him tightly.

"D-Dai-chan... I'm s-sorry for t-tr-troubling y-y... you..." His voice was muffled.

Daiki smiled and pulled back a bit, shaking his head. "Stop saying sorry and just be the same old Yuto." He brushed away some of the incoming tears falling. "We all miss him... I miss him..."

------------------------------------------------

Daiki was sleeping on the couch, probably from being tired after lack of sleep.

Yuto sat himself at the arm of the sofa, holding a clip. He started to poke Daiki's cheeks.

The older boy turned his head, eyes squinting before he continued breathing evenly.

Yuto giggled and did it again.

Daiki swatted the air in his sleep with still a peaceful face plastered on. A name escaped from the BEST member's lips. "Yuto..."

The taller boy stopped the poking and stared at Daiki for a long while before leaning forward and squeezing Daiki's cheeks, causing the latter's eyes to flutter open only to be closed again.

Yuto smiled. "I'll be the same old Yuto just for you..." he murmured, resuming his poking.

------------------------------------------------

"Sorry, Yama-chan... for the other day." Yuto apologized.

Yamada turned away, shuffling his feet and suddenly glomped Yuto. "I'm the one who should be sorry... I hurt my best friend's feelings without knowing it... how could I not have noticed? Stupid me..." He sniffled a little.

"Don't say that, Yama-chan..." Yuto mumbled. "I was being selfish... and don't go emo on me again..."

Yamada shook his head. "It's my fault..."

Yuto sighed and flicked Yamada's forehead. "Look at me..."

Yamada looked up at Yuto's intense eyes. "It's the both of us. Happy? Now cheer up! I don't think we need an Amakusa Ryuu here."

"My character wasn't that emo!" Yamada protested. Yuto shot him a look. "Okay... maybe a tiny bit."

"..." Yuto frowned, raising an eyebrow.

"Fine, he was one hella of an emo kid!"

Yuto laughed and pushed Yamada's shoulder playfully.

------------------------------------------------

Daiki and Yuto were outside again, sitting on the same bench a while ago and blowing bubbles.

"You know... you're a lot like a bubble," Daiki commented.

Yuto blinked. "A bubble? If anyone's a bubble, it should be you. I mean look at those round cheeks." He poked them and Daiki pouted in response. Yuto laughed whole heartily for the first time in a long while with cheerful eyes.

Daiki smiled. "Like... see those pretty, glistening colors on the bubble under the sun? That's your smile and personality. It radiates off a vibe that everyone can't help but love." He blew a few bubbles in the air. "But it's delicate." Daiki placed a finger on the round sphere and it popped. "So it gets harmed easily. Yet..." Daiki blew out some more, watching it float away. "More bubbles can be formed, prettier than the last ones."

"Are you trying to say that I'm pretty?" Yuto raised an eyebrow.

"No!" Daiki exclaimed, looking slightly frustrated that his message wasn't getting through. "What I mean is... that your smile... the more you smile... you... umm..."

Yuto tilted his head as if he didn't know what Daiki was talking about.

Daiki gave up. "Never mind," he muttered, looking dejected.

"But you know what?" Yuto asked softly.

"What?" Daiki waited for what Yuto was going to say.

Yuto held a bubble. "Even though it may be delicate, if you're gentle and careful enough, you can hold it for a few seconds." Then the bubble evaporated. "Thank you, Dai-chan... for always being there for me."

Daiki nodded and smiled.

"But I"m not that delicate, Dai-chan. So I won't pop in a matter of seconds."

Daiki nodded again.

"You can hold me for a longer time."

The shorter boy nodded and then blinked as the words gradually sunk in. "Wh-what?"

"Well... if I was a bubble, I would pop after a little while if you held me."

Daiki tilted his head to the side. "Wait... what do you mean by that?"

Yuto jumped up and flashed a peace sign, smiling. "I don't even know what I'm saying!" He laughed and poked Daiki's tummy, leaning in. "Since it seems that you read me so well, you should be able to figure it out!"

"Hey! Tell me!" Daiki yelled out as Yuto ran away, chasing a flock of pigeons. "Geez... you can be so weird sometimes..." He shook his head and blew some bubbles. "But then I'm glad to see you being yourself again."

------------------------------------------------

Yuto hummed 'Believe Your Smile' by V6, skipping into his room with a huge grin plastered on. He threw himself on the bed when he heard his cellphone beeping, signaling a new text message. Yuto opened it and smiled at the screen.

Just smile, Yuto. ;) The smile that not only makes everyone else happy, but makes me the happiest. >w<
