Short update
So, I haven't been posting nearly as often as I'd like to, simply because I've been too exhausted to do much beyond sit around, play on my computer and watch TV, DVDs or instant Netflix videos online. That's even without 8 hour days... I left early every shift last week, which is going to hurt my paycheck next week. Saturday I worked the evening shift >.< 6-12:30. Served bottles and bottles of booze... and made a grand total of $7 in tips... I felt bad for this one guy, part of a group of Spanish speaking people, we can't accept cards at the snack bar so he had to go get cash. While he was doing that the two girls he walked up with ordered and paid for two sodas, then asked for a third and said he'd pay for it. He came up and ordered a soda and a slice of pizza. The sad part was that he didn't have enough for two sodas and the pizza, and I felt really bad explaining that the girl already took the soda so there wasn't anything he could do about that. He ended up just getting the sodas, not the pizza.
Aaaaaanyway I had a good weekend. Mom and I went shopping on Saturday and I gots me an external hard drive, new sneakers and a couple more work shirts (and splurged on a couple DVD boxsets :P Firefly and the first season of Psych). We then went out to Applebees, I got some fresh strawberries at the local Farmer's market then my mother and I both got haircuts (my treat) before I went to work. Today I relaxed, watched some Firefly and finally got around cleaning my room... well... basement... somewhat. The only downside is the fact that most of my nails had been ripped off over the course of the week... thus leaving them short and ragged... thus bringing back my worst habit... I started chewing my nails again >.< The result of my unconscious nibbling is about half of my nails are now down to the quick... tomorrow is going to be painful... People always compliment me on my nails, but there really is a reason behind them. If my nails are long and pretty I don't chew on them. If they're short they get ragged and I become obsessed with evening them out... resulting in my chewing them down faaaar shorter than they should be... I fail.
Alright, my cat is whining at me and licking my arm to get me to go to bed, so I must oblige :) Nighty Night
