As of now, I'm a member of
Dreamwidth! I'll still be posting on here, I guess - all of LiveJournal's recent douchebaggery is still, apparently, not enough to drive me away for good. I can't help but feel that LJ is being slowly shifted to appeal to a different demographic, to be honest. Like they're trying to turn the site into some freaky hybrid of Facebook and Tumblr. I mean, I use and like (ish) both sites, but LiveJournal feels more like home to me. Tumblr and Facebook are both full of drama, and on Facebook I couldn't post half of the stuff I do on here. Yeah, it does seem to be going that way. I don't really like how they've changed the look of everything either. I know what you mean, though: I've been on LJ for nearly ten years (eep) and it's weird to think of not using it at all. I like Tumblr but it definitely is very drama-filled, and also you can only post to either everyone or no one - there's no in between.

I haven't actually got any news e-mails from LJ in ages, which is weird. Usually I skim them, so I didn't know about the changes in paid time until lately :/
And there are ads in my f'list, between every entry :( I dunno if it's due to my layout; mine's single column so the ads are placed irritatingly in the very middle of the page, le sigh.
