This is actually just for the attention of my Irish family. If you're a normal blog-stalker you can disregard it, if you're a particularly stalkerish blog-stalker... well, read on. I can't stop you!
Anyway, if you're Sophie or Mum or even Shannon or Geoffrey, hello there! Here's what I'm thinking of bringing over with me:
Obviously I'm going to need the basics; my legs, my arms, my brain and all that jazz. Ehem. Carry on...
A hold-all of clothes. I won't be taking all my clothes over there - just my favourites, as I plan to do a massive charity shop crawl when I'm over there.
A selection of books. Again, not all my books. I'll be leaving a few of the less awesome ones behind. I need reading material, what with it being an English course!
My CDs. Thankfully small and easy to pack, and I need music for sanity. As much as it pains me to say this, I'll have to leave my beloved vinyls for now.
The two novels I'm working on, obviously. Can't be a writer if you aren't working on something.
I want to bring my guitar over - just the electric one, I'll leave the acoustic - and my clarinet. I'd love to keep practicing when I'm over there, but if space is an issue I'll leave them.
And last but not least, university supplies. Academic diary, the ringbinders I bought, notepads... I won't bring a whole heap of stuff over as like I said, I can buy them over there, but I'll bring enough that I can get a good start.
Ooh, actually, I'll be bringing over an A3 sketchbook and my journalism portfolio, which is also A3. But that can easily slot in the car somewhere.
Tweet me if there's any problems!
