Malls and DDR
Ashie's mom took us to the mall in Fredrick today. That was much fun. ^_^
First we ate lunch at this really good Italian restraunt. I got a cup of red pepper cream soup which was really good and we all got Brushetta (sp?). After lunch Ashie and I went to Hot Topic. Ashie bought her boyfriend a Hat and Jacket and me a thing of bracelets. One of the girls at Hot Topic liked my pants. =D
*sigh* I didn't have enough money to buy Michael's birthday present, so I'm going to ask my mom about it this weekend.
After Hot Topic we went to the arcade for a long day of DDR playing. We met up with some cool people there and talked with them for a bit. One of the girls there went to Otakon! =D So we chatted about Otakokn and whatnot. Hopefully I'll see her next year and be like "hey! I saw you at the mall!"
Anyway, we play for a bit, then Ashie goes off to play Soul Calibur so she can cool off before playing more and I decide to play by myself. Well this boy I'm guessing was around 10 years old sees me step up and put money in the machine and says "heeeeeey". I look at him and say hi and go back to getting ready to play. He asks if I'm any good and I tell him I'm not too shabby and he then says "soo....do you..like fast songs?" I tell him "yeah, they're alright." and go back to looking for my first song to play. I land on the vocal version of Candy and he says "excellent choice!" I ignore him and start the song. Then he gets up on the pad next to me and pretends to play along with me saying "I love this song!" and while I'm playing I say "yeah, it rocks my socks, man". Then he moves closer making it hard for me to play, looks right at me and says "it's my...favourite song" in this like..voice that says "I am SO hitting on you". By then I am completely freaked out. I mean..sweet Jesus a 10 year old is hitting on me. Then I attract a fucking crowd of little kids. T_T On top of that a bunch of mexican guys were staring at me.
That was the first incident at the arcade. Here's the second one.
Ashie and I decide since it's 4:50 we're going to play our last game of the day. We put our money in and start to play and these jackasses were sitting and standing behind us banging on the floor and other game machines and shouting at us trying to distract us so we'd fail. Then when we're on our LAST goddamn song one of them shouts at us "will you hurry up and fail already so I can play?!" now that just pissed me off. I look back while still playing and shout back "shut the hell up you impaitent jackass!" and go back to playing.
When he went up to play I felt like pushing him off the pad while he played, but that would solve nothing and I'm not the kind of person to do something like that.
