It's That Time of Year Again

Bowl games bowl games bowl games. Yep it's college bowl season. Yet again I'm participating in a bowl pool again. I won't bore you guys with those details every day like I tried to last year. However, going over my picks again I'm wondering if I was smart to place all of my hopes and points on Illinois to win the spread in the Rose Bowl. I'm also starting to think I was smart to put my least amount of points on the FSU game. I may have picked FSU but I could care less if they win or lose. It's only one point. The thing is, FSU has been having some issues this year issues that stem from Bobby Bowden's time at the school running out to fourteen players being caught in a cheating scandal in a music history final. Kind of ironic seeing as they're playing in the Music City bowl. This means fourteen players aren't going to be present for the game and some of them are starters on the team. Not only are they kicked off the team for the bowl game, they're also kicked off the team for three games next season. My only question about all of this is what in the world would make someone that desperate to cheat on an exam for a class. Makes you also wonder why so many of them were in the same class. Did they think Music History was a Mickey Mouse course or something? Whatever the answers may be, the FSU players screwed themselves over big time.
