Bowl Game Pool and Other Things
Third bowl game is over with and I didn't quite pick the right team. Sometimes the favored team does well and sometimes, like tonight, they suck royally. As with the NFL playoffs, it's all about how the two teams are doing at that very moment in time. I had Rice to win the spread with 24 points on the game. The final score ended up being Troy 41 and Rice 17. Not every pick is going to go my way and thankfully those that did pick Troy didn't have huge points on them save for one person who is now in third. So, I'm still second in this thing as I head into a tripple threat on Saturday needing East Carolina, New Mexico, and Utah to do well and win the spread.
In other news I don't think I'm voting in this week's icontest. I just can't find anything that I like that isn't something I made. I don't really believe anyone understood the sins they were using well enough to find the appropriate images to go with them. I think I pegged them properly but I don't know if I have them exactly. Also, I think I'm going to start a new iconing community sometime in the next week or so. I'm a sucker for simple icons that have very few textures and brushes on them and I think there needs to be a community for the ones in the animated world. There's already a community like that for stock icons so there needs to be more like that. There's some interest in the place but it's more or less of the curiosity kind.
