Okay, I *knew* that Black Friday existed, but its reality-warping insanity has never been made truly apparent to me. A coworker introduced me to a website with scans of this year's Black Friday sales papers. Much like men of learning in the Renaissance when they first carved into the dead flesh of a cadaver to glimpse the microcosm that is the human body, I am both horrified and thrilled by what I have seen.
Laptops for 100 dollars.
6 Megapixel digital cameras for 40 dollars.
MP3 players for 30 dollars.
Wireless adapters for 2 dollars.
I look back upon the previous sentences with disbelief; I cannot fathom the universe in which they are considered true. That universe is this one.
