My interviews went well. Very well.
I've gotten a job offer from AEON to teach in Japan, and I have accepted. Feburary 22nd of next year, I will go to Japan and teach English for a year.
This has been a dream of mine for a very, very long time, and it is finally coming true.
I wanted to let you all know that I will be leaving. I'll be on the other side of the world. I won't be there to say hi, to see you. I'm going to miss conventions, holidays, birthdays, births, deaths, injuries, and so much more.
I wanted to let you all know because I love you all, and I don't want any of you in the dark about this big step of my life. I am going to leave this place for a while. You are my friends, and so many of you have helped me live my life and get through the hard times in it. You've celebrated with me at my triumphs and have accepted my own congratulations and consolations throughout the years.
I will come back, no mistake there. I may be in Japan for a year, I may be there for two or three. I'm not sure. I know that my home is here, and all of my friends, the amazing people that make my life so much fun, are here.
