Harry enjoys the critical moment that proceeds death, the moment when the world slows to a snail’s pace and he feels like he can perceive the whole world.
He knows that people fear that moment more than anything but he's has experienced it too often to fear it. As with all things the human mind can only hold up to so much terror before it becomes inured to the experience. His mind only made it through seven moments of such terror before he wasn't terrified.
Ironically, that moment was the one that spelled his death, not that the death lasted.
