I've been ...
Watching
Anime: Bleach , Zero no Tsukaima,
T.V: Dexter, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Monk, The office, Chuck, My name is Earl
Movies: I'm using my free rentals at BlockBuster to catch up on all the movies I didnt see while they were in the movies. I've watched lesser known flicks with varying degrees of enjoyment. Ex: "Kabluey", "Smart People", "Just add water", "the Eagle and the shark" were some of them.
Reading:
Manga, lots of it. Getting ahead on Bleach, catching up with Naruto , and finding new ones like Fairy Tail ( which is rapidly becoming one of my favorites). I'm also thinking of going back and reading Hana Yori Dango again. I can't wait until they sub the live action movie with the cast that put on the jdorama's season 1 and two.
Of course I'm catching up with the fanfiction and re-immersing myself in my OTP Harry/Draco of course
And pics like the newest one from
red_rahl "Not Alone"
Make it really easy to remember why I love them in the first place.
One thing thats happened to me twice during this time is something I know everyone has experienced atleast once.
The lack of warnings.
Like anyone, there are some things I rather not read but that I can easily brush off and dont pay too much mind too. But personally there is one thing I cannot stomach and thats non-con or rape ; especially when it involves children. I've always considered myself lucky that I have such a vivid imagination when I read, I see the characters as clearly as if I saw them on a screen and its always been a great thing for me. That said, there is nothing more disturbing to me than to see a small child shy away from a touch, see scenes where they are violated and experience things that a child (or anyone else) should never experience. I'll admit I'm a little sensitive, but I just wish that there were always warnings. Because if you tell me about it and I still read it then its my fault for going forward, but if there is no warning then I end up feeling like I was sucker punched. and it kind of leaves me in a sad kind of mood.
But that aside, I'm trying to push forward with updating my fics and finally ending them. I tried to update by going in order and as you can tell from the last chapter (its not working to well.) . So instead I've chosen to pick one and jsut finish that one and then go to the next story. Maybe if I focus on one, the words will flow and we'll finally find out what happens. :D
