Ok, I haven't written anything since turkey day, but that doesn't mean I haven't done anything. *blink* Or... Maybe it does. -_-' It's just so sad that I have no life. *sigh*
Well, I started reading this story at
FanFiction.Net called "
Wankage" (yeah, the name conjures so many images, doesn't it?). The story is remarkably funny, despite the (very strange) mix of characters. Wankage is basically a huge crossover fic, featuring characters from the mangas/animes Hikaru no Go and Prince of Tennis, as well as a bunch of characters from pretty much every clamp manga/anime ever created (including, but not limited to X/1999, Card Captor Sakura, and Angelic Layer). I also went to the Wankage
homepage, where their motto is: "How wrong can it get? Very wrong..." O.o They're not kidding.
Anyway, the point of the previous paragraph was to let you know that the story totally inspired me to finally download the anime Prince of Tennis. I admit to having been curious about it for a while, since I had heard that it was a good anime from several sources, but I wasn't curious enough to actually download it until now. So (last night before I went to sleep) I did a quick hunt through some BitTorrent sites and found what looks like the complete Prince of Tennis anime series. I (with a remarkable lack of foresight) only started downloading the first torrent (with episodes 1-5) and watched the episodes early this morning. I totally LOVED it! [-->Insert rabid fangirl squeals here.<--] And so... I now wait on episodes 6-10 and 11-15, which seem to be deliberately trying to provoke me by downloading as slowly as possible. ~_~ If I didn't know any better, I'd swear the anime gods HATE me. *pathetic whimper* Must have more of sexy Ryoma-kun...
The only other (slightly less pathetic sounding) issue in my life is my mom's birthday present. Her birthday is on December 5th, and I've still got no clue what to get her. Not that she wouldn't be happy with anything I choose to get her (even if it's just a card), but I want to get her something she'd like. The thing is... We have totally different tastes in just about everything. Hell, I was surprised that she actually took my advice on the color of the curtains that she bought for the living room and her bedroom. (Green for the living room, as if you couldn't have guessed. Tan and beige for her bedroom.) Though I wasn't surprised that I was the one who had to work on all the pretty designs... *grumble*
Err... That's all I wanted to say. I'm off to try using any bit of mental powers I might have to force BitTorrent to download faster. Bai!
