So I suppose I can talk about my crazy thing I did yesterday since I'm feel much better about the whole foot meet mouth thing...
So the last time I cut my hair was the day before my high school graduation. After that I went to college and didn't cut it again.
I have contemplating what to do with my hair for the past few weeks and thought I had a fun idea. Weird, but fun. It was going to be based off a random picture I found online and Utau, a character from Shugo Chara.
Well Shilo and I went to Regis in the mall and I brought my pictures and was determined to go with what was planned.
Well that changed once I became the spectacle at the salon. They were amazed at my hair length...it was nearly past my butt at that point...and were even more amazed at my lack of split ends since I haven't cut it since oh...2003. After about 15 to 20 minutes of discussion...we decided to just chop it off. But I said ok...don't go past my chest area. Well once it was cut...I figured oh hell...just keep going...since the shock had wore off.
So they dyed and cut ...and cut...and styled.
I now have hair to my shoulders again. It's been dyed a mix of super super dark brown (looks black) with purple...and of course I still have my orange color.
Soo....yeah. It was a bit drastic to say the least. I figured it might be when they required me to sign a release form. I'm happy with it...although I'm still getting used to it. I need to go out and buy a straightener and shampoo that won't strip the color.
I think the best thing about it is I can actually wear hats. Before I just had too much hair and it just looked goofy. So I bought my first hat. I can also wear Jeremy's old cub scout hat which fits my head quite comfy. I like it too.
The drawback....no more Sailor Moon odango hair. :(
I dunno if Jeremy really likes it. When I ask he just says, " The important thing is do YOU like it?" or "I'm still getting used to it" and "It's cute."
Being as I am a pessimist when it comes to people saying things about how I look, I am automatically thinking he actually isn't too thrilled about it. But then again I'm sure I'm just reading too much into things....which I often do.
I will try to post pics at some point. If anyone cares...
