Because I said I'd go to bed an hour ago....

I need this thing. I can't believe this thing was only patented in 2002. I had this idea a looong time ago, like in highschool

The beauty of this product is that a remote is used to set off the beeping sound. My mom got me a key finder a few years ago but it was activated by "whistling". I was so excited at the possibility of having a quick and easy way of finding my frequently lost car keys. My dreams were quickly crushed though. Theory was, if you whistled the key finder would beep, and you would find where your keys were. Yeah, in theory, and it worked, sorta. For the day that I had it on my key chain, I really did always know where my keys were because any loud or high pitched sound would set off the obnoxious beeping. The radio in the car, television, people talking.. whatever. So I gave it back to my mom and she returned it to the store she purchased it at. Quite a novel concept, but the whistle/sound activation created a solution which was almost worse than the problem. It's too bad it had to be returned to the store... because it ought to have been extremely useful for me. But since mostly I lose my keys at home....this "keyringer" thing might be a good idea... with having the remote control to activate beeping on lost item instead.

Off to bed.
