I'm glad you're enjoying the story thus far! But I have to ask you to consider this: why would Shockwave go through all the trouble to bot-napping Prowl in the first place? :D *hinthintwinkwinknudgenudge*

I'm glad to see more. Optimus and Jazz both have extreme concerns about what Prowl is, but he's too useful to get rid of. I've been curious as to how your going to resolve this.

I'm happy you're enjoying the story! Yes, Optimus and Jazz know that they can't allow their feelings to cloud their judgement when so much is at stake. It's a very frustrating situation for them.

It makes sense that Optimus would realize what Prowl is when they first met. The real question now is who gave him the datapad. It could be Prowl himself but I have my money on Ratchet. He seems far more passionate about the situation then I would normally expect. I wonder if he was a part of the original research. :)

Yeah, him having the Matrix and being the Prime and all I thought that he would have some inkling as to what Prowl really was right from the get-go. As to the mysterious datapad, I actually had a different mech in mind when I was writing this, but now I really like the idea of Ratchet having a hand in Prowl's creation...

I just found this story and pretty much my only reaction is a keysmash. Of love and jealousy and amazement and everything you can possibly express in a keysmash.

*twitchy twitchy bounce bounce* Oh I hope it goes all right. And am i reading right that Optimus doesn't see Prwol as a person either, but a necissary evil he just has to put up with? That's sad, poor Prowl.

Optimus is very confusion on how to classify Prowl. After all, Prowl talks and acts and lives like a regular mech but that one thing that makes a mech a mech is something he doesn't have. Optimus has decided to let it be for now since Prowl is a useful tool (and Optimus does feel a bit guilty for thinking of Prowl like that since Prowl is a good person(?) but, again, he really just doesn't know how to think of his SIC since he's a conundrum.)
