Hello everyone!
It's Saturday today , so that means the weekend is here!
I actually can't wait to go back to college on Monday. We will be starting our Final Major Project! I'm excited about it , just not so excited at the boring research essay I'm going to have to write before I start anything interesting.
This morning was actually the first morning out of these whole two weeks that I've actually had the chance to have a lay in o_O The rest of the holidays have just been busy doing this and that , and sorting things out etc. Ahhh and It might feel good to do it again tomorrow morning! :D
I must say that I did kinda get to bed late again this morning....um...about 3 or 4AM. Seems to be happening too often lately , so I'll hopefully be back into a somewhat normal routine when I get back into college.
This morning , I checked the post by the front door and found one of those red cards from the postman stating I missed a delivery. Whoops. I must have been in deep sleep , as it said 8AM something....xD
Anyway , I tried calling them to see if my parcel was actually back to the sorting office yet , but had no luck getting through at all , so decided that I'd do my best to get to the post office as quickly as I could before they shut (at half twelve). Well , it was near enough 12 by the time I actually picked up the card. But anyway , after realising no was was going to pick up and answer the phone , I decided on running down there. So I put my nike trainers on and ran out the door. I had ten minutes by the time I'd actually got ready o_O I ran , and ran , and ran....huffed and puffed...haha , I'm so unfit since I've not been running daily anymore :(
I got there at 12:29 LMAO.
I went in and there was another guy who was in front of me , who had also missed his delivery and was there to pick up his parcel.Unfortunately for him , his parcel had not returned back to the offices yet , and I thought "great. That doesn't leave me much hope for getting mine either." :(
But I ran and made it just in time anyway , so thought I'd ask anyway.The guy in the office was really helpful , and let myself and the other customer know that the 12:30 closure of offices is not in service anymore , and that it was actually an outdated card and that they are now open until 2pm on a Saturday. Hahaha just my luck!!!
Anyways , I handed over my card , he had a rumage around , and returned with my parcel :D
Yey. It was my new phone case . I basically got it for half the retail price , and thinking now there was no way I would have paid fiull pricce for it!!! It's cute , but not worth the full retail price just because of a brand name. >__< Here's a few pictures I took of it fit to my phone earlier :)
I kinda ran on the way back home anyway , just because it was fun , and I've missed running so much. Shame I can't do it anymore :( Will have to find a new sport that's just as fun.
Well , as some people know, I love my headphones. hehe... My mum thinks I have a 'thing' for headphones as I have so many , but really it's because the cat keeps eating them -_- But some are really pretty. I saw these pretty little purple earphones online and I'm questioning if they really are that colour or if the photo is over saturated :/ They are such a nice colour...
But speaking of headphones , I really would like to save for some which have a really good sound quality with deep bass. I love listening to sounds of thunder and I currently play it through my Sony speaker system with the bass turned up and it shakes things, hahahaha. It's great , but I can't do that when I'm in class. So maybe time to just save until I find something I like. I do love the skull candy white headphones , but I have skull candy on at this moment and the quality isn't as good as my own pink gumy earphones o_O The price difference is quite insane to be honest. Just proves expensive is not always better.
Later on in the day , I came back home from the post office , and had an orange , then went back down towards the town to get a few bits. It was nice to just put my headphones on and wander , without having to rush to be somewhere or the shops going to close soon. I got the things I needed , or at least , some of it , but I need to stop spending at the moment as I'm running out of money , and it's still another week before I get paid again and I've not even put money aside yet for bills o_O
Yesterday , I got offered an interview for a job I've applied for. It's not much , just a till position in a local garage and it's only 12 hours too. I've got my interview for that next week , and I've gotta dress smart/casual which means NO trainers or jeans. Since my wardrobe consists of not much else other than these things , that might be a slight problem :/
Will have to invest in some new shoes , or borrow some for the day haha.
My only worry is that since it's evening shifts , until midnight too , that I will not be able to do any school work on those nights at all :(
This is the last project , and I've got distinctions in each and every one so far. I just hope this one will make the grade too!!!
Anyway , I've chatted on about too much random junk , so now think I'm going to get some headache tablets and then a cuppa :)
