So it's been a while LJ friends! I've just been this crazy unemployed bum, leading the good life, and probably drinking a bit too much wine. It *IS* the good life. I'm back to TV watching again. The boy and I have been on this TV binge-fest and we'll probably have another one coming up this weekend, but I've gotten totally hooked on Leverage!! That show ROCKS! Although I have to confess to not being too crazy about Sophie.
Speaking of new shows...
- Persons Unknown: This one's plumb weird. I'm not really sure what's going on and how they plan on explaining everything but with Third Watch hottie Jason Wiles and the ever so awesome Alan Ruck, I'm in!
- The Gates: A bit late on joining the whole supernatural bandwagon, this one has a bit of potential. It's got vampires, werewolves, and God knows what else, attempting to blend in and lead the normal human life, and best of all, ZEE VAMPIRES DO NOT SPARKLE (sorry all you Meyers' fans out there). But let's face it. I'm in it purely for the young hot boys, and Luke Mably, who once upon a time made my heart thump in The Prince and Me.
- Pretty Little Liars: This *IS* Gossip Girl (without the fashion) and Desperate Housewives combined. Again, not sure where they're going with this but I can't stop wondering how much bigger Lucy Hale's eyes are going to get. And booyah! They got a former Charmed witch in there, ex Mr. Hillary Swank, and the teen lesbian vibes reek a little of trying too hard. On the bright side, Mr. Detective is TRES cute.
- The Soup: Not a new show by any means but I just may have to force Joel McHale to commit bigamy and marry me. He's cute and ridiculously funny. Note to self: Get more Community episodes!
Randomly, just watched an episode of Lie to Me with Jason Dohring in it. How creepy was he!? I *MISS* the living daylights out of him being on TV. I hope he finds a GOOD show and stays on it! Or moves to a promising film career. I DON'T CARE. I just need my Dohring fix! Also, I want to throw Loker and Torres off the nearest cliff. Hell, I'll make one and shove them both off it. They bring annoying to new levels, and Loker's self-righteousness (especially in 2x12) and Torres' supposed instinctive ability to smell a liar just bothers the living daylight out of me. I mean, seriously, thanks Torres for explaining to Foster how you were able to tell the person was lying. WHAT WOULD *SHE* know? Gah XDXDXD
And thus concludes my update quite possibly for the year. How you doin' LJ friends? :)
Edit:
So Persons Unknown 3rd episode. I had a feeling that the mom (not to be confused with her creepy mother) would be the one person I hate, even more than the stupid car salesman or the bona fidely stupid blonde twit. Last episode, she repeatedly fries herself against the microwave force field encasing them in because you know, if you smash yourself against it over and over again, THE MICROWAVE WILL LOSE AGAINST YOUR DETERMINATION. Re: housefly. This episode, they're digging underground and come across a steel barrier ("A what?" Really, there's a limit as to how moronic the salesman is) and then alarms sound, the barrier turns into a vent of some sort, and the mom CLINGS ON TO IT BECAUSE IT'S A WAY OUT AND IS LEAKING KNOCKOUT GAS. Again sheer determination wins against knockout gas.
At this rate, I'm going to want a majority of them to die. Leading the pack is the mom.
I'm thinking this is the future of POW camps personally. Or some mad scientist/billionaire (OR BOTH) wanting an island of his own. MWAHAHAHAHAH
