Got this from beth :D
1. Do you write fiction or non-fiction? Or both?
Im awful at non-fiction so I write fiction
2. Do you keep a journal or a writing notebook?
Just my journal here on LJ...plus I have a notebook dedicated to each story I write in case I get ideas away from my comp
3. If you write fiction, do you know your characters’ goals, motivations, and conflicts before you start writing or is that something else you discover only after you start writing? Do you find books on plotting useful or harmful?
I've never used a book on plotting so Im not sure if I would find it either way...
And the other question it depends the story...I always start with a basic character story/motive/descript/ no matter what
sometimes it's incomplete and will progress later...sometimes it's complete from the get-go
4. Are you a procrastinator or does the itch to write keep at you until you sit down and work?
I always get writer's block when the story is going awesome..so I stop and wait for the urge to write to hit me...if I push
myself to write "through the block" the story seems unnatural and it sucks
5. Do you write in short bursts of creative energy or can you sit down and write for hours at a time?
Either way, depending the situation and how Im feeling
6. Are you a morning or afternoon writer?
I don't write at any particular time just whenever the need/want/urge arises
7. Do you write with music/the noise of children/in a cafe or other public setting, or do you need complete silence to concentrate?
Just depends my mood...no TV please lol distracting...but I can write in Cafe's or public to an extent...I prefer music over it though
something classical or instrumental makes me feel at ease...or even some of my fav bands...
8. Computer or longhand? (or typewriter?)
Comp. absolutely...I have my notebook for when Im in class or out and want to write but I prefer the comp
9. Do you know the ending before you type Chapter One? Or do you let the story evolve as you write?
I usually have a general idea but don't KNOW the ending...I let it progress
10. Does what’s selling in the market influence how and what you write?
Not at all....I write what I want and what I feel like
11. Editing/Revision - love it or hate it?
I hate it but I do it A LOT...I'll re-read my story after I've written a few chapters and go "this doesn't work" or "this would be better this way"...which is probably why I've never finished a story yet
