What is this class you speak of?

I should be taking notes, but I'm fairly confident in my ability to pass this particular class without taking notes. Hence, I am on LiveJournal updating. So, I just got the results back from my first test in Spanish 2 and I got an 85. The highest score in class was a 91 then a 90 then me. So I'm happy with my grade because it shows that I did really well. I did an extra credit assignment worth 10 points that will be applied to the test making my score 95 which is an A. My goal is to graduate with straight A's at FIU. I have a test in an hour on International Relations of the US and I'm feeling comfortable with the material, my concern is the short answers. I believe I will do well regardless. I've also made some pretty decent school friends here on campus with three people from my Spanish class. I even have a new facebook friend!

In other news, I've started dating a guy I really like. I don't want to go into to much detail for fear of showing just how excited I am and potentially ruining what seems like a great thing. I like him enough that I'm willing and actually want my friends and family to meet him.

In MORE other news, I was thinking about applying for Model UN (which is offered as a course at FIU) but it turns out I can't. Frank, my best friend since I was in like 5th grade, is engaged and getting married March 14. The course requires a specific amount of days being available, and one of those days happens to be March 14. It's nice because the decision has been made for me, but by the same token, I think it would have been a great experience if I could have been accepted. The course is only offered every Spring semester and I should be graduated by next fall. I could probably still register for the course if I can get accepted to the program NEXT year, but that sure is a long way off.

Anywho, I may not take notes, but I'll get back to paying attention.

grades, boys, school, model un, weddings, friends
