Happy 2009!
Its the new year :)
not really sure why i would be excited about that but still lol. New Years wasnt special at all and it turns out my back got worse as the day went on.
We ended up going to erins house which, although it was nice to get out on new years, my back was hurting so badly that i couldnt really enjoy it :( I felt really bad for kyle because he was having a good time but i made him go home pretty early :( I was feeling a bit emo that night and ended up just going to bed when we got home.
Yesterday was pretty nice though. Kyle and I went out to eat with ashley and mike at the Olive Garden. The service was pretty slow but i enjoyed many breadsticks :P It was really nice to go out to eat, we havent gone out really in a while. Yay Christmas gift cards!
Then we went back to our apartment and played a new board game we got called "Partini" I was really excited to play it because i had seen the commercials and it looked like fun. Sadly it wasnt too fun lol. It ~might~ be more fun if your drinking but still...not too sure about that lol. They had one category where you had to hum a song and none of us knew like any of the songs listed on the cards lol. Another category was just completely confusing so we pretty much didnt do that one.
Acting things out were pretty fun and another category was making things out of play dough was really interesting haha.
Quote of the day was "looking like youre eating crickets?!" or something about a proctology baby.
We were all pretty tired from eating all that food though, i couldve gone to bed right then haha.
Ashley and mike left a little while later to head to their friends danas house. I felt like we were rushing them but kyle seemed pretty tired and mike was almost a sleep on the couch.
the rest of the night was kind of a blur. Did some stuff on wow and headed to bed.
my week is so messed up right now though, it feels like its monday! Its going to be hard getting used to 5 day weeks...the last months or so ive had so many holidays or days off to look forward to so it will be a bit harder.
Hopefully i wont be here much longer though :)
We still havent heard anything from the guy in NY but i think he was waiting for me to send in my resume and then with the holiday, im sure they werent open. But they are open today and tomorrow so cross your fingers we get the money offer by the end of the weekend.
i need this. so much. as scary as it would be it would be so good for us and i think for me to get out of here. im not going anywhere here, im not getting anything accomplished, i dont have any friends.
im not saying that as soon as i move id start bringing in 100K a year and have so many good friends i dont know what to do with but... i think it would put me in the right direction :D
I was telling kyle that there have been more than a normal amount of like...new york things on tv? the day we got the offer, family guy was about new york, the wheel of fortune (dont know why i was watching that show) had a whole category about New York city and then the next day we were watching a movie located in the central park area. I know a lot of things are filmed there and its pretty poopular but it just seems strange how many things have been dealing with NY. Or perhaps, i am just noticing it more.
I could totally hang out with rob too! He got a booty call on New Years Eve haha! way to go LOL. But yeah, hed be only an hour away and if we got really lonely, we can head to kyles dads house by train.
Its been constantly on my mind...i wish the guy would decide...
i have to poop.
but i know if i went to the bathroom i would be in there for a long time.
I was happy that i had kyle there at midnight on new years. He said to me, "dont worry, itll get better, well be in NY soon"
hopefully hes right and we can get our lives started again.
