Talked to Andrew yesterday. It pretty much was the only thing good for my day.
Aside from that I had to do last minute dress hunting for Amanda's wedding. Prom season and a specific color... serene... ugh. There were 3 dresses in that color in the entire store and I was lucky to find two in my size. The first one was long and there was too much boob exposure for my comfort. I think the only way someone could wear that dress was if they hardly had boobs or they would use duct tape to secure no slipage. The second dress fit perfect. It's strapless and comes to midleg, but it works for me. I was lucky to find shoes in my size and had to get them dyed the same color as the dress. My mom nagged me to get a necklace and earings so I settled for a matching set of glass pearls and faux diamonds necklace and earings that played off a little pin thing on the dress. So 2 hours, $215 later and having to bring the dress to the alterations area in David's Bridal, I have to get some minor things fixed because from what I saw that day a lot of girls who were trying on dresses that you could tell were just 2-3 sizes too small from them. So, the zipper area needs some tending to and the little "eye" hook on the back of the dress needs to be replaced. Things would have been easier if Amanda eloped like they planned to last week when I bought a simple cocktail dress. Oi!
Things leveled out as I talked to Andrew for a while. He didn't really do anything, but talking to him just made my day a lot better. I felt bad when my parents all of a sudden told me get ready because they were bringing me to Cosino's to eat. So after telling Andrew I love him I was out the door. Dinner was great, I don't think I've laughed so hard in the past few months. There was a family gathering a table away and a little baby belly laughed for a little while. Cute babies belly laughing are just contagious.
After dinner I saw 10,000 BC. Good movie... the ending is a little different, but I enjoyed it. When I got home I talked to Andrew for the rest of the night.
So I made it to 22...
