Sakura-con 2005! ^__^
Yay! Wow! This year was really fun. This time Kitty, Stevie, Adam, Pan-Pan, and Sam all went too! ^__^ But Pan-Pan and Sam only went Friday, and Stevie and Adam only went Sat. and Sun. Okees! Con reports!:
Friday: Started out bad, actually. ^^;; Even though Kitty and I were both pre-regged, my dad (our guardian) wasn't, so we ended up waiting in the registration line! T__T And we missed the opening ceremony again! ;_; I really wanted to see that... But it's a good thing that Sam and Pan-Pan and Pan-Pan's dad came when they did, or they would have had to wait, too. ^^
So we finally got in! We spent most of our time wandering around the hotels and taking pictures of cosplayers. We saw a beautiful Count D! ^__^ And since all of us happened to be really obsessed with D, we all had to take a picture. ^^;; I really wanted to glomp him, but I was afraid it would ruin his beautifulness. At around 7, Sam and Kitty were off watching AMVs I think, and Pan-Pan, her dad, and I were all standing in line for Ikue Ohtani. ^_^ She's so cool! I loved that show. And when the Dreamcatchers did Freckles, Kitty and I couldn't help but sing along! ^___^ After that we wandered around a bit more and then went home. I didn't know how commuting from home would work out since we stayed at the Marriot last year, but we live close enough to pull it off. It was a really good Friday, all in all.
Saturday: This was defiantly the best! Adam and Stevie came, but there was no Pan-Pan or Sam. It was fun anyway, though. ^^ I'm so happy Adam and Stevie are friends again. Just a little while ago, they wouldn't even talk to each other. Now here they were, wandering the con together, getting hugs and signatures from Tycho and Gabe, playing games in the Wired. ^_^ It made me so incredibly happy.
And yay! We finally met Kiharu! Kitty and I were walking, and I saw her from behind. I'm not really sure why now, but I just knew it had to be her! Being the shy person I am, Kitty had to push me forward to get to Ki-chan. But it turned out to be her! ^__^ So that was fun.
We didn't really have any plans, so we spent our time wandering around and getting lost. But I'm pretty sure we spent most of our time in the Wired. XD Kitty just loved those AMVs, not to mention Para Para Paradise.
At around 6ish, we met a girl named Megan (I hope I spelled that right ^^) who couldn't get in because they had run out of badges on Friday and Saturday. I felt so sorry for her. I can imagine how it must have felt. She even had a really pretty Chi costume and everything... So I felt I had to help her! So Kitty and I thought of a plan. I'd give her my badge and say I lost it. Then I'd just get a new one and she would have mine. I know it was against the rules, but I felt I had to do something. So began our quest. And it all turned out great! She got into the Con, I got a new badge, and we all made a new friend. ^____^
Sunday: This day was a nice end to all the fun. The first thing we did was the Penny Arcade panel. And, being the weirdo he is, Adam just had to ask "Do you ever have erotic thoughts about each other?" Interesting answer, we got... ^^;;;
After the PA Panel, we all ended up in the Wired watching AMVs again. XD We probably watched Animix about four times we were in there so much. ^^; I got up and
