Cosplay Report: There's a Sparkle on my Sparkle!
Dammit, glue gun, why do you hate me? I've never done anything to you!
This began with a simple gluing-on of the big shiny in the middle. But it looked too small and plain by itself, so I decided to add some beads around it. This set off half an hour of frustration and angst, but no minor burns for once.
But, yes, there is shiny. I just wish I knew for a fact that none of the little round beads will fall off as soon as I put this on. They were falling off constantly as I was gluing them all on. Also, my glue gun attacked me and splattered hot glue all over the dress, which I had to remove/cover up so they wouldn't be visible. FUCK YOU, HOT GLUE.
This is a really ugly gluing job. I don't care anymore. After the glue cooled I picked up the bodice and shook it. None of the beads fell off. I'm still not confident. We'll see what happens when I try it on.
Now to make the skirts!
