Home

Wow.  Coming home was an odd experience.  First of all, I thought I got on the wrong bus at first, and that my trunk was on a different bus.  I am prone to panicking like this a lot.  But I arrived in Port Authority with all my luggage, so that was fine.  My dad got out of work early and drove me home.  When I started seeing landmarks that were close to my town I started getting teary-eyed.  I couldn't believe howmuch I missed home.

Clio first came downstairs and got that look on her face like when she's been seen by a stranger.  I felt awful; it was like she'd forgotten me.  But then she came over to me and rubbed against my legs.  She's hardly let me out of her sight since then (she's curled up on my legs right now, making sure I don't go anywhere).  I feel guilty about needing to leave again on Sunday.

I went to the lake yesterday and swung on the swings.  It was wonderful.  I really missed that in Boston.  Those swings are my meditation spot, so it felt really good to be on them again.

Thanksgiving dinner was great!  So much delicious food.  We haven't had dessert yet, but there's apple pie and pumpkin pie.  There will be tea.  Good food is something else I seriously missed.  I wish I could take some back with me, but I'm not sure how I would pack it.

Oh!  I do have some cosplay news!  I found a top hat in my sewing room!  I'd forgotten about it.  I got it at the circus last year.  It might be difficult to sew on, but it might take pink sparkles with the help of glue.  If I can fit it in my trunk I'll bring it back to school and we can see if it's the right shape and size.

Tere's a shelf in my room that's the perfect size for Otavi (who arrived unharmed, thank goodness).  He's curled up there now, in his blanket.  I think he approves of it.  That can be his bed whenever I'm home.  An SD-sized doll wouldn't fit , though.

There was more I wanted to rant about, but I don't remember what it was.

reality, cosplay, bjd
