Good day all!
Wow. It has been quite a while yet again...perhaps I should do this writing thing more often. Anyway, a lot has happened. My little guy is turning one at the end of this month. Can you believe it?!?! One year already!!! It went by so fast. Just flew right by me. I just started college. I go to TSTC (Texas State Technical College) now. My major is DMD (Digital Media Design). I am hoping to get my associates and get a job as a Graphic Designer, like I told everyone I wanted to do when I was still in high school. Well, I've finally gotten around to starting my new life. =) I am a bit happier now than I have been in the past. Life is much more difficult here than I was hoping, but the good thing is that I am finally making friends here. ^-^ I needed some friends...Just sitting at home everyday wasn't cutting it for me. I did work for a few months at the Family Dollar store down the street, but I got bored with it very fast. I needed something to expand my mind. It feels so good to be back in school. I am enjoying it a lot! Alexander just started his first week of daycare. They told me that he is doing very well. They said that they can't even tell that he has never had a babysitter or been in a daycare before...That's how good he is doing in there. I am so relieved to know that he likes it there, because I have an 18 week here at school. And, now with my husband going for an internship...Alexander will be in daycare for the majority of the week I am afraid. But, on the bright side he is getting to be around other children and when I am through with school he still won't be in Kindergarten yet. So I will still be there for him then. Shane, my husband, is leaving at the end of January to go do an internship at Big Bend National Park through SCA (Student Conservation Association). He will be gone for three and a half months...It will just be me and the baby. It will be lonely for me, but it is good for him to go. That is what he has his heart on so I am letting him go follow his dreams. As long as he promises to come back! =P Anyway...I'd better be going now. To all I left behind.
