Missing Moon Tapes??

Ok.... you know.. this kinda worries me.
1. How can you "misplace" a historical moment in our history? The U.S. Government practically pour everything they had so we can beat the Russian to the moon..... it is like misplacing the Declration of Independence or the Constitution... sheesh
2. We are sending robots to study the moon? to prepare people to land in 2018?!?!? http://www.nasa.gov/audience/forkids/home/F_Vision_Slideshow_Text.html what is up with that???
Of course my workplace think it is kinda funny. Maybe the moon landing is fake (some group believe that) and one of my co-worker said maybe should look into Hollywood's Vault ;) who knows... but no new landing until 2020?!?!?!
