Seriously speaking, nobody knows about the future of the Idol industry. Let’s face it, IDOL is a product like a car. If some car is still selling we will still produce it, so the same works for IDOLs.

Why do I put on caps? Because IDOL, like we know now, is mostly a Johnny's creation. In the 60 and 70s IDOL was mostly reserved for women. And it was described as “passionate fans recreating romantic feelings on the Idol character”. Because of that, idols must retire once they get married.

Now, the industry is different. They have TV programs, music, and lastly an internet image that moves the scenery to worldwide range.

Thanks to KimuTaku and Jimusho's decision not to retire him, now we can have “Arashi married club”.

Therebefore, the “virgin image” of the idol is not the 1st charm, they have other abilities to show us than their personal lives.

Again, Johnnys (with or without the name) has the opportunity to kick off the industry like they did in the past decades.

JP fans said they won't watch Kohaku if they don’t invite Johnny’s.

Also, there's enormous pressure to broadcast the Countdown, if Fuji doesn't do it, JP fans will just shut down their TV…

And, again facing the reality, what JP television matters is JP fans and JP citizens. Is OK since Japan doesn't broadcast anything outside Asia.

I would love to see another IDOL figure… Now they have the opportunity to discard anything they don’t like or don’t need.

For me, they have the right to change. And most importantly they have the opportunity, chances like this happen once a time.

😀Letting go of the strict system of kouhai and senpai. there’s no more “entrance day” or “debut day” as hierarchy. The more sensible thing is to abandon it.

😀Stop lying. Yes, idols lie. in such a stupid thing like their height.

😀Stop with the “dating permission”. They are adults!. Currently the youngest debuted is Michieda, and he is 20 years old, just let them live.

😀Be international. As they are “funding a new company” they can say they aren’t forced to be only national idols.

For now, it is just a desire. Because nobody knows!

Nino is currently “independent” but he works with “johnnys” or “smilers” (whatever you want to call them). This also opens a new world, you can leave the “jimusho” and work with them. Many fans thought about it, and want ex Johnnys to work again together like Akanishi, Yamapi or others that left the Jimusho before the collapse.
