[Lloyd shivers, rubbing his arms through the sleeves of his jacket.]

Th-think I could come over right now?

Of course, Lloyd! [Sympathetic look. Dino's standing outside, but his friend sure sounds worse off]

Hey, you want me to pick you up? Hate to make you walk in this.

I've walked in worse, but I w-wouldn't mind that at all. I c-can't find the c-coat Zelos gave me last year when I first g-got here.

[Probably another victim of the flood.]

Damn. I'm sure we can find one for you. Fay might be just about your size, and he won't be needing it anymore. [His smile doesn't waver. As much as they miss the other blond, he's probably better off home - especially in this crazy weather]

Hey, do you like tea? I'll make some when we get back. [The feed's a little blurry as Dino starts off toward the car]

Really? Are you sure? What if he c-comes back?

[Lloyd wouldn't want someone to be cold at his expense, not when he knows he can handle it.]

Anything hot to drink sounds good. I'm at my apartment right now, but the p-power's out.

Well if that -- [And the Dreamberry flies before there's a liquid splat of Dino face-planting in snow]

[Alskdfjas Lloyd can't see what happened!]

Dino?! What happened? Are you all right?

[There's some rustling on the ground and then Dino reaches for the Dreamberry, shaking off the cold fall]

Sorry, sorry. [So embarrassed]

[Oh. He just tripped. Lloyd laughs, not at his friend's expense, but mostly in relief. He'd been afraid that it was worse.]

You dork. You okay?

[chiavarone]

[Awkward laugh + embarrassed smile] Ahahaha - I'm fine.

So you said your power's out? That's rough. [Back in motion, heading to the car. Carefully. As carefully as a clumsy boss can manage]

Y-yeah, my apartment's pretty c-cold. I borrowed Genis's blankets last night s-since he's... since he's gone...

[His expression falters for a moment before he shakes it away. He misses his friend, but at least this way Genis can tell the others that he's safe. They can go on with their journey without worrying about him, and they could probably use Genis's help.]

I'll go downstairs and w-wait outside for you.

[He'll spare his friend having to navigate stairs.]

[Exhaling cold air as he trudges up to the car] Hey, if tea doesn't do the trick, we can soak and drink sake!

Man, you have no idea how good that sounds. I'd have to dry off really good before I went outside, though, or I'd really become a Lloyd popsicle.
