Have a Zoo-per Day!
Today was my first day giving a school lecture for the zoo. My first presantation sucked, I rushed with time, it was bad. My second one went alot better. But it was a lot of fun, other than stupid Foster. I love newton and liza...but seriously, I'm not a bird person I swear. Foster is a Kookaburra, and a brat. We have too Kook's that we can take out (Foster and Mickey) so I figured I'd wait til today to see who was acting better to take. Nope, they were both being shits. So I took FOster because he was being alot more vocal, so In hopes that he'd acutally "laugh". Nope, instead he bit the crap out of my left arm! I mean, it dosen't really hurt, or it didn't. I'm glad he's not like a raptor or cockatoo who can really bite. I mean, they can do harm if they really want to. But he just kept biting me basically saying, "why the hell am I here? Let me go home." Along with a lot of cuss words if Kookaburas knew what cuss words are. But he freaked out on my for both class presentations.
But my other animals were angles. Granted, one was a salamander who the kids couldn't touch. My exiprence today with that was realizing that butters is off handeling, and not being able to tell the difference between butters and tony (yes, that's right, Tony the Tiger Slamander...). Gromit was his usual curious self, it's why I took him. I love that little ferret. And Snuggles. Our ball python. It was my first time doing ANY persentation with a snake all by myself. And I did well if I must say so myself. If you would hvae told me this time last year I'd be handeling all these snakes, I would have told you that you were insane. So I"m happy that I"m doing so well with them!
I'm still going nuts waiting....no word yet! EeeKKK!
