Well, I haven't updated this thing in quite a long time, so I thought maybe I should. That, and I have a big essay to write, which without fail seems to make everyone have a sudden urge to update their journal things. Of course, the problem with that is that I don't really have a life, and as such, don't really have anything to say. However, I shall endeavour to write something.
I've been sick for like the past week, so Sally and I had to pull out of our concert class performance yesterday. That was a bit of a bitch, because we've been working on this bloody duet for 2 months. We were staging it and everything. Now we have to wait until the next all-years concert class, because we'll be damned if we're going to perform it only for our year level.
Speaking of performancey things- Monday week, the 16th of October, is the orchestra concert that I've been looking forward to basically all year. The wonderful Stefan - he's an amazing genius, in case you didn't know- is playing Rachmaninoff's second piano concerto with the faculty orchestra, it's going to be completely awesome and incredible and you should all come if you possibly can. It's free! Hawthorn Town Hall, I think, 8pm. I'll be there. With bells on.
My friend Miriam just got back from Germany, where she went over the mid-semester break to buy a brand spanking new bassoon. It was like $26 000 or some such ridiculous sum, but it *is* very pretty and shiny, and it has a beautiful rich sound, too.
She also went to Prague, and made out with an Italian guy. His name was... Fabio. Seriously. That was his actual name. Fabio. And Fabio said to her "You want make sex with me?"
At which point she laughed and declined.
Anyway, I can't really think of anything else to add for now, so that's it from me.
